Prayer For Marriage Restoration After Adultery

Prayer For Marriage Restoration After Adultery

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you in complete anguish and pain. You said in the bible that you hate divorce and that you hate adultery. I do not understand why my husband committed adultery, but Lord I cannot change what has happened. Only you can heal this marriage. Please restore our marriage for your glory, Lord. Restore not only our marriage but our hearts as well. Make us into the loving and trusting people that we were when we first got married. Lord, please work through my husband to end the affair immediately and to focus on our marriage instead of another woman

Heavenly Father, I come before you in complete anguish and pain.

Heavenly Father, I come before you in complete anguish and pain. The betrayal of adultery has been a wound that will not heal for me. My life with my husband has been shattered by his infidelity, and I am heartbroken. I have prayed for him to return to our marriage and make it right again, but he refuses to do so—he says he wants a divorce! Father God, help me understand why this happened? Help me make sense of it all, because right now there is nothing but confusion and hurt coursing through me every day as I try to live without him or even see him on occasion when work requires us both be away from home at the same time…

I know that if this had happened before we were married then maybe things would’ve been easier because there wasn’t as much love between us yet – but now that we are married there is so much connectedness between us – how can someone just walk away from something like that? How could he cheat on someone who loves them unconditionally despite their flaws? Now my heart feels like broken glass everytime someone mentions Adultery!!!

You said in the bible that you hate divorce and that you hate adultery.

You said in the bible that you hate divorce and that you hate adultery. I understand why you would say this. I also understand why people who doubt God’s existence don’t like being told by Christians that they are going to hell because they’re not following a rule or law.

I know there are times when it feels like you’re too far gone for me to be able to come back from this mess, but I just want to remind you that if there’s anyone who can do anything he wants, it’s God himself! No matter how bad things look right now, no matter how broken we’ve been made by other people or ourselves—and no matter how much we’ve broken each other—God will fix us together again if we let him.

I do not understand why my husband committed adultery, but Lord I cannot change what has happened.

God hates adultery, and He hates divorce. The Bible says that if your husband commits adultery, you should forgive him. He has to ask for forgiveness from God, but also from you. You can forgive him if it’s hard for you because God will help you do what He wants.

God gave us a choice when we married our husbands—to trust them or not trust them. If we trusted them then we are wrong because they did something bad anyway! But maybe God knew how our husbands would act and wanted us to learn how NOT TO TRUST someone else so that when something else happens later in life where there might be some trust involved (like raising children together), then maybe WE WOULD KNOW HOW TO DO IT RIGHT!!

Only you can heal this marriage.

Marriage is a sacred union of two souls, and only God can restore it. No person or group of people can do it on their own. Only God has the power to heal your marriage and make it stronger than ever before.

Only God can restore trust in a relationship devastated by adultery or betrayal. He’s the only one who can forgive sins, change hearts, and restore a marriage

Please restore our marriage for your glory, Lord.

  • “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” -2 Corinthians 5*

Restore not only our marriage but our hearts as well.

  • Restore not only our marriage but our hearts as well.
  • Make us into the people we were when we first got married.
  • Restore trust between us, Lord.

Make us into the loving and trusting people that we were when we first got married.

You see, your husband’s love for you is not conditional. It’s unconditional. You can never do anything that will make God stop loving you or stop wanting the best for you. And as a result of this love and desire to see you happy, God wants your marriage repaired.

God desires that all marriages succeed and flourish! He knows that it is possible because he has already done it many times before in other relationships! He wants to bring healing into each one of our marriages so that there can be peace between us again like there used to be when we first got married and were crazy about each other.

Lord, please work through my husband to end the affair immediately and to focus on our marriage instead of another woman.

Prayer For Marriage Restoration After Adultery

Lord, please work through my husband to end the affair immediately and to focus on our marriage instead of another woman. Please help him to be honest with me and tell me his feelings, so that we can move forward together. I am willing to forgive if he is willing to change his ways, but only if he is willing. He needs to know that it’s not about being forced into doing something he doesn’t want—it’s about being patient and forgiving, even when it seems like there’s no hope left in sight (which happens), or you’re constantly having flashbacks from your past relationship with this other person (which also happens). Lord, help my husband realize how important it is for both of us now more than ever before in our lives! Thank You so much for providing us with another chance at happiness together; may Your will be done for us here on earth just as much as it is done up above Your throne where You reign supremely above all else.”

Sometimes in relationships we make mistakes. These mistakes can be forgiven by God and by each other with the help of prayer.

Whether your spouse has been unfaithful or you have, the important thing to remember is that God is the ultimate judge. He will see what we have done and decide if it was right or wrong. We can’t always see the whole picture, but through prayer and forgiveness we can get back on track. It’s not always easy to forgive each other; however, if we don’t forgive each other there will never be healing in our relationship. When we are willing to forgive ourselves as well as our spouse for any mistakes made then it gives us hope for healing.
