Family Prayer For Protection
Heavenly Father, I come before you today to ask for protection over my family. Lord, I pray your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my kids (grandkids). Protect them from captivity and oppression of the evil one. Protect their minds from harmful instruction and their hearts from deceitful desires. I pray that you would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Give them discernment to recognize truth. Strengthen them in You so that they may stand against the devil’s schemes
Protect them from the enemy’s attacks, so that they will not fall into his traps. Help them to resist temptation quickly, and to flee from evil immediately. I thank you for keeping them safe from every harm destruction and danger of this world… In Jesus name Amen.”
Heavenly Father, I come before you today to ask for protection over my family.
Heavenly Father, I come before you today to ask for protection over my family. I know that you are aware of the dangers that surround us. I know that you have promised to protect us from all harm and danger, but here is where we need your help. There are many things we face as a family each day and it seems like there’s always another problem on the horizon. Please keep watch over us and give us comfort in knowing that no matter what happens, we will be safe because you promised it would be so!
Please help me to do my part in keeping my family safe by teaching them about their Heavenly Father’s love and care for them each day. Please take away any bad influences they may encounter that could lead them astray from following their Savior Jesus Christ or even lead them into sinning against him. Help me teach my children how much they mean to me in every way possible so they will learn how valuable they are in God’s eyes and not become discouraged when life gets hard or stressful at times like these!

Protect them from captivity and oppression of the evil one.
Please guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Give them discernment to recognize truth so they will not be deceived or confused by Satan’s lies.
Protect them from captivity and oppression of the evil one.
Protect your loved ones from the enemy. Protect them from captivity and oppression of the evil one. Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do in their rebellion against You. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.”
Protect their minds from harmful instruction and their hearts from deceitful desires.
Protect their minds from harmful instruction and their hearts from deceitful desires.
This is a prayer to protect your child’s mind and heart from harm. It’s important to shield them from bad influences, like classmates who make fun of religion or popular culture that promotes sin. This prayer can also be used for protection against physical harm as well.
I pray that you would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
- I pray that you would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
- Protect them from harmful instruction, because some have wandered away from the faith by listening to deceitful teachings.
- Guard their minds from deceitful desires, which are like fatal traps set up by Satan. They lead people into more and more evil thoughts, which lead to sexual immorality, impure behavior, greediness and many other sins that destroy your life.
- Teach them how to speak the truth with gentleness so that they may be able to defend themselves against those who want to harm them. Let no evil talk come out of their mouths; instead let only godly words flow forth like a fountain of water springing up into eternal life!
Give them discernment to recognize truth.
- Give them discernment to recognize truth.
- Discernment is the ability to distinguish between truth and falsehood. It’s also a spiritual gift that can be developed and used (1 Corinthians 12:10). This gift will help your children recognize when someone or something is not what they seem to be. As they mature, they will be able to avoid deception and error, while being able to discern the voice of God within their hearts.
Strengthen them in You so that they may stand against the devil’s schemes.
Strengthen them in You so that they may stand against the devil’s schemes. They will not fall into his traps and will resist temptation quickly. They will flee from evil immediately and make their way to You, Father.
Make them strong, Lord, with Your Spirit of power. May they be filled with faith by Your Holy Spirit; may they walk in wisdom before You all the days of their lives on earth! Let these things be done for my children’s sake!
Protect them from the enemy’s attacks, so that they will not fall into his traps.
Protect them from the enemy’s attacks, so that they will not fall into his traps.
The devil is a crafty and dangerous adversary. He will stop at nothing to lead us astray or destroy us. The Bible tells us that he prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). In order to keep him from harming you and your loved ones, we have to resist his schemes with prayer. This includes praying for each other when we think of it—and regularly scheduling times together as families so that our prayers can be focused on carrying out God’s will instead of our own selfish desires!
Help them to resist temptation quickly, and to flee from evil immediately.
- Resist temptation quickly, and flee from evil immediately.
- Be slow to listen, and quick to speak; slow to anger, but quick to forgive.
- Don’t let the sun go down on your anger, for anger gives the devil a foothold in our lives.
- Don’t give the devil a foothold by going out of your way to pay back others or get even with them for what they have done wrong against you!
I thank you for keeping them safe from every harm, destruction and danger of this world.
After you have prayed the above prayer, ask your guardian angel to keep watch over your loved ones. The more often you pray this prayer and put it into action, the stronger the protection will be.
In conclusion, I hope that these prayers prove useful to you and that they provide comfort in knowing that even though there are many dangers in this world, God is watching over us always! And no matter what happens or how far away we are from each other on Earth, there is nothing that can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39).
In Jesus’ name, Amen
Let’s end this prayer with the Hebrew word for “Amen.” Amen means “so be it,” and it expresses our faith in God. It’s a declaration of obedience, praise and trust in Him, as well as love for Him. That’s why when we say Amen at the end of prayers or sermons, we’re declaring that we believe what was said and will obey His word.
A prayer for protection is a powerful way to ask God for help. Asking for protection over your family is an act of faith and hope, but it can also be an act of desperation when you feel like you have no other options left. Though we don’t know what will happen in the future, we do know that God promises to keep us safe if we seek Him first.
