My mother is a wonderful woman, but she’s also a little lost at times. My prayer is that God will enter into her heart and change her forever. I pray that You would take away her fears, release her from regret and shame and anything else that has held her back from fully surrendering herself to You! Jesus, You love my mother more than anyone else ever could, so I pray you would open her eyes so she will begin to understand what an incredible gift You are in all of our lives. Give my mom boldness and wisdom as she shares Your great love with others around her. And please use me as Your instrument in guiding my mother toward loving You more everyday of her life! You can pray for your mother to have a relationship with God. You can pray for her to have a relationship with you, and with all of her children, including you. You can also pray that she will be able to establish healthy relationships with her grandchildren.

You should pray for your mother every day, even if it’s just one short prayer asking God to protect her from harm and guide her in everything she does.

Dear Lord,

I pray for my mother. I pray that You would give her peace and strength. I pray that You would give her courage to face what she must face, and love in abundance when she needs it most.

I pray that You would fill my mother’s heart with Your compassion and understanding, because none of us knows what tomorrow will bring us or our loved ones. We could all use an extra dose of grace today, especially my mother. This gift is not just for me–it is also for her as well! Please help us all find ourselves in each other as we go through this difficult time together.Thank you so much, God!

I can’t help but think that a beautiful relationship with the Savior would make such a great difference in my mother’s life; a wonderful friendship with Jesus would bring such peace to her heart.
