A Catholic prayer for mothers day

Happy mothers day!

In honor of mothers everywhere, may you find peace and consolation in the Lord.

May you be strengthened in your maternal affection, and enjoy the companionship of your children.

We bless you with love and pray that you will use this special day to reflect on the gift of motherhood, and thank God for all the blessings He has bestowed on you.

Blessing a mother on mothers day

Mothers are the cornerstone of our family, and they deserve to be celebrated every day. When we think of mothers, we think of all the wonderful things that they do for us, from cooking us dinner to raising us right. On Mother’s Day, let’s give our mothers a special blessing in appreciation for all that they do for us.

The first thing that you should do when you are thinking about giving your mother a blessing is to thank her for all the sacrifices that she has made on our behalf. Tell her how much you appreciate everything she does for you, both big and small. You can also say a prayer for her during this special day.

Next, make sure to spend time with your mother on Mother’s Day. This doesn’t have to be anything major – just taking a walk outside or having lunch together will be enough. Let her know how much you love and appreciate her, and let her know that she means the world to you.

Finally, let your mother know that she is always welcome in your home – no matter what happens between you and your dad. Tell her that you will always stand by her side and support her through thick and thin.

Our Lady of the Rosary for mothers day

What better way to celebrate mothers day than by praying to Our Lady of the Rosary? Pope Francis has asked us to do this for all the mothers of the world on October 14th.

There are many ways to pray the rosary, and each one can be personal and special for you. Here is one way:

Start by saying the Our Father and Hail Mary three times. After that, say eight decades of the rosary, each consisting of five sets of ten Hail Marys and five Our Fathers. The first set is said in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary; the second set is said in honor of Jesus Christ’s mother, Mary; the third set is said in honor of St. Joseph; and so on. Finally, say Glory Be to God after each decade.
