New Year Prayer For School
Dear Lord, thank You for sending Your Son Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. We thank You for the hope that He brings us each day and especially at this special time of year. As we celebrate His birth and prepare ourselves for the coming year, let us remember those who have gone before us as well as those who are still with us on earth today. Let our hearts be joyful with gladness because of all Your blessings! Amen!
Dear Lord,
Dear Lord,
We humbly ask for forgiveness for any wrongs we have committed against you or your creation. We pray that you will guide us as we move forward into the new year and provide protection. Please bless our families, friends and loved ones with love, peace and happiness in their lives. Thank you for giving us another year to live on this earth.

We pray that the coming year will bring. Keep us close to You in all our activities and give us strength when we need it, faithfulness when we are tempted, wisdom when we are unsure of what to do next.
We pray for our loved ones who are away from home or in distant places, that they may know Your love wherever they go; that You would hear their prayers and protect them from harm; that You would bless them with health and happiness as they travel through life’s journey.
We pray for teachers who teach us about Your love for us each day; for students who listen carefully so their hearts might be opened to learn more about Your love and what it means to live a life pleasing to You; for administrators who help keep order so the school runs smoothly but without hindering learning opportunities like recess time or other breaks during the school day.
courage to do what is right and good. It is our desire to be more like You this coming
“Lord, it is our desire to be more like You this coming year. We pray that Your Holy Spirit may grant us the courage to do what is right and good. It is our desire to be more like God, more like Jesus Christ—and we ask that you would help us become such in all things through Your grace. Be with Christian parents and teachers as they endeavor to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Eph 6:4). Be with Christian students as they strive for academic excellence at your institution (1 Thess 2:12). And finally, we pray for Christian leaders who are seeking wisdom from above even as they serve their community by leading its youth into paths of goodness (James 3:17). Thank You for hearing our prayers! In Jesus’ name we pray.”
