Indian Prayer For Healing
We all need healing. We all need help. We’re not meant to be alone in this life, though it often feels like we are. There’s a reason why the Psalms are filled with so many prayers for healing and comfort, and why those prayers were answered. It’s because God wants us to ask for help when we need it and know that He will give it if He can (and sometimes even if He can’t). So today, let’s learn how to pray for our own healing—physical or emotional or spiritual—with these simple steps:
When the world seems to shake around you.
The world is not always a safe place. It’s not always happy, and it’s certainly not fair. In fact, sometimes the world can seem like an awful place to be.
When you feel like the world has turned against you, when your heart has been broken and you don’t know how to put it back together again, when everything seems wrong in your life…this prayer for healing will help heal your soul.
When no answer seems to be the right one.
There is no right answer. There are many answers, but there is no one answer that will work for everyone. There is no idea that will work for everyone. You have to find your own way of doing things, even if it means asking someone or going through the same path as others before you.
When you are sick or injured, it can be hard to figure out what works best for you or what is going to make you better. This prayer is meant to help guide those who need healing in their lives and help them find peace with whatever answer they get from God.
When you don’t know where to turn or which way to go.
When you don’t know where to turn or which way to go, it can be helpful to take a deep breath and consider what you’d like your life to look like.
Think about the things you want to do. Consider the goals that are important for you to achieve in this lifetime. What do you want your life’s story to be? What kind of legacy would make sense for someone with your background, interests, and strengths?
What kinds of experiences would bring joy into the world? How can we best use our time on earth in order to leave a lasting positive impact on others—whether that be through nurturing plants or helping people find their way home after dark?
When all your hope is gone and all your dreams, seem shattered and broken.
Oṃ Hūṃ is a prayer that encourages self-healing. It is said to contain the power of healing, protection, and purification through repetition. The Sanskrit mantra is found in ancient texts including the Rig Veda as well as Upanishads such as the Chandogya Upanishad and Taittiriya Upanishad.
The mantra can be chanted while sitting or while moving around slowly with your eyes closed. The purpose of this practice is to create balance between body, mind and soul by bringing peace inside yourself first before you start healing others too.
And when your heart cries out, “I can’t go on anymore,”
And when your heart cries out, “I can’t go on anymore,”
And when you feel like life is not worth living,
Pray this prayer:
“Dear God, please help me.” (The Indian Prayer for Healing has been adapted as a simple four-line prayer.)
That’s when healing will come.
When you are ready for healing, you will find it.
Healing can come in many forms: from within, from others and/or a higher power. But all of these things are not linear processes, they are circular ones. The most important thing is to keep your focus on learning and growing while staying on the path of love, forgiveness and compassion.
It’s okay to need help with healing
It’s okay to need help with healing. It’s okay to ask for help. You have nothing to be embarrassed about and you are not alone in this journey. You may try all the remedies, techniques and exercises on your own, but sometimes it’s nice to get a second opinion or a third opinion or even a fourth one if necessary! You might also find that some things work for some people but not for others—and that’s okay too!
It’s important not only to ask for help, but also accept any offers from those around you who are willing (and able) to lend an ear or lend their shoulders when needed. Remember: there is no such thing as a stupid question; questions are just questions until they’re answers!
It’s okay to need help with healing. The world has many great healers, both traditional and modern. You can find them by asking for a recommendation from your friends or family members or by searching online for someone who provides the type of healing you are looking for.
