Children should also be raised in the fear of the Lord so that they can grow up loving him and obeying his word (Deuteronomy 6). As parents, it’s important that we teach our kids how to love others too—not just family members but other people outside your immediate circle too (Leviticus 19).
Christian Parents Should See Their Children As A Blessing From God
God gave us children as a reward for following His will on earth (Old Testament). You can also say: “I’m so glad that our family is growing! I’ve been praying for years now, but it’s finally happening!”
Children are also a heritage from God (New Testament). You could say something like this: “Thank you so much for blessing us with these kids! This is such an incredible gift!” Or perhaps: “You are an amazing parent! You’ve worked so hard to raise these beautiful children.”
We have seen that children are a blessing from God and that parents should see their children as such.
