Prayer To Help Me Be A Better Person
Dear God,
I want to be a better person. I want to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be. I know that you are my Father in Heaven and creator of all things, but sometimes I think we get lost in this world trying so hard to make it on our own without remembering who has created us and what He wants for us.
God, please help me find true happiness in life. Show me how to love others well and live each day with joy as Yours alone. Help me grow in Your love every day so that when You come again at last judgment, I will have grown closer still to becoming like You!
You created me and love me dearly.
God created me and loves me dearly. He is my Father and He knows what’s best for me. I can trust in Him and His love every day of my life.
I am your child, and you are my Father.
Since I have been born into this world, I have never been alone. You are with me every step of the way. You have loved me from before time began and will continue to love me until the end of time itself. Your love for me is constant and unchanging—it does not depend upon what I do or how well I behave; it just is because of who you are as my Father in heaven.
As your child, I know that nothing can separate me from your love—not sin, not death itself! The fact that you created us out of love means we all must be made in such a way as to live forever with each other and with you when our bodies die at last (Romans 8:38-39). This gives us great hope in times like these when everything feels bleakest around us!
As your child, I desire to please you in everything I do.
As your child, I desire to please you in everything I do. I want to be a good example for others and help them whenever possible. I want to be a good friend who makes others feel comfortable when they are around me. But most of all, as your child, I want to be a good parent like you so that my children can grow up knowing the love of God and having their lives changed by Jesus Christ.
Help me each day to be the best person that I can be.
This prayer is the starting point for all my prayers, because it reminds me that I need God to help me be the best version of myself.
I am not perfect and neither are you, but we can strive to be better people each day by asking for guidance from God.
What does it mean to be a good person? It means being kind, honest and respectful towards others without expecting anything in return. We should also strive to be happy with ourselves despite our flaws or shortcomings, because no one is perfect on this earth (except Jesus). Being able to see things from other people’s perspective helps us learn more about them so that we may treat them as we would want them to treat us.
Help me to do the right thing at the right time in the right way.
- Help me to do the right thing at the right time in the right way.
- I am not perfect, but sometimes I think I can be a good person and do what is right. But other times I don’t feel like doing it. Please help me make sure that when you are asking me to do something, I will always obey. Thank you!
Help me always to put others before myself.
I pray that you will help me always put others before myself. I know that I can be selfish and self-centered at times, but I want to be more generous and kind in my thoughts and actions.
Help me always think about others before myself, and help me do nothing that might harm another person or cause them pain or suffering.
Please help me learn to put aside my own petty desires for the good of others, because you know what’s best for us all. Help me make sure my decisions today aren’t just about what makes me comfortable or happy right now—but rather about whether they’re going to make my family, friends, coworkers and community better people tomorrow—and beyond!
Please help me to love as you love us.
God, please help me to love as you love us.
I know that the most important thing in life is to love one another unconditionally. I know that this can be difficult at times and that I need your help with it.
Love is a choice, not just an emotion or feeling. Loving someone takes commitment and effort on our part, but it’s worth it because the benefits of doing so far outweigh the costs.
The greatest gift of all is to give someone else unconditional love—to choose them over yourself at every turn, no matter what challenges may come up along the way or how difficult things might become between you two as time goes on; this kind of sacrifice shows your partner just how much they mean to you and also gives them something very special: The knowledge that they can always rely upon you when they feel down or are feeling lost during difficult times in their lives (and yours), knowing full well that there will never be any question about whether they have your support because their feelings are completely understood by both parties involved—both partners have made commitments towards each other which cannot be broken unless one party chooses not participate anymore due either death or divorce.”
Help me to use my talents and abilities to serve others.
Use your talents and abilities to serve others.
You don’t have to do it all alone, so don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. If you can’t do something, then don’t let fear keep you from asking for assistance from someone who can help you. Even if someone doesn’t know what they’re doing, they still might be able to give some helpful tips or advice on how best to accomplish something that is important in your life.
Help me always to seek your will in all things.
- Help me always to seek your will in all things.
- What does it mean to seek God’s will?
- How do you know when you have found God’s will?
- How can you know if you are on the right path?
- How can you know if you are doing the right thing?
Thank you for being with me now and forevermore. Amen
Thank God for his help, and say amen. Prayer is not just a good idea; it is a commandment from God, who is always with you and always listening to your prayers. He will answer your prayer—and if he doesn’t, then keep praying until he does! God wants to help you be a better person, so try asking him again later when you’re feeling stronger or more confident in yourself (or if life has been going well lately).
Conclusion
I pray that I may be truly thankful and grateful for all the blessings that you have given me. I thank you for your love and light in my life. May these prayers help me to become a better person, as I strive every day to please you in all things.
