How I prayed for my boyfriend to love me
I was on my way to work one day, and I saw my boyfriend walking in the opposite direction. It felt like a dream. I wanted to run over and hug him, but I didn’t. I just waved at him and kept on going.
I wasn’t sure what to think when he didn’t wave back. I mean, we had been seeing each other for months and things were just getting better and better between us. But then something inside of me started to feel scared. What if this was all a dream?
I decided that I should go talk to him, but I was so shy. Then, out of nowhere, an angel appeared beside me and said, “Just tell him how you feel.” So I did. And the next thing I knew, my boyfriend was asking me out on a date.

What I learned from praying for my boyfriend to love me
I am a recovering prayer addict. I used to pray for things like my grades to be good or for people to like me. But when it came to praying for my own personal relationship, I was really bad.
I would pray that my boyfriend would love me, that he would want to be with me, and that he would stay with me through thick and thin. I would also pray that he would never leave me.
But eventually, I realized that these prayers were not working. My boyfriend continued to breakup with me and I couldn’t understand why. Then one day, I prayed for guidance and plugged in my Google search bar.
I read a lot of articles on how to pray for your relationship and one article really hit home with me. It said that what you ask for in your prayers is actually very important because you are asking God for His will for your relationship.
Now, when I pray for my relationship, I focus on what God wants for me rather than what I want for myself. And it has worked wonders! My boyfriend still loves me and we are currently in a healthy relationship. Thank you Lord!
