Heavenly Father, we come before you, trusting you with our marriage

Heavenly Father, we come before you, trusting you with our marriage. We pray for God’s guidance in all things and for his help as we walk this journey together. We know that without you nothing is impossible; we pray that your love would be made visible through the way that we treat each other. Help us to communicate well and to be emotionally honest with one another, so that our communication can become a means of sharing mutual respect and a way to bring healing into our relationship when needed.

In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

We are in need of healing and strength.

God is a healer.

God is a provider.

God is a comforter.

God is a protector.

God is your finisher.#endofstory

Lord, take us back to a place where we are communicating effectively and loving each other unconditionally

Lord, take us back to a place where we are communicating effectively and loving each other unconditionally.

We need to be honest with each other. We need to be patient with each other’s feelings and respectful of one another’s opinions. We should always strive for understanding, even when we disagree.

We also need to forgive one another when mistakes are made or misunderstandings occur; this is an essential part of any healthy relationship! In order for there to be forgiveness in marriage, there must first be repentance: the sincere acknowledgment of wrongdoing or error on your part—and then a commitment not make that mistake again!

Finally, communication needs to take place in a way that shows respect and love toward your spouse; if you do not feel respected by your spouse during conflicts or disagreements then chances are high that they don’t feel respected either! It may take some time but I truly believe that as long as both parties work hard at it they can find their way back onto solid ground again where communication flows smoothly between them no matter what issue arises within their marriage

Restore us and give us strength to rebuild our relationship.

Restore us and give us strength to rebuild our relationship. We ask You, Lord, because we know that a healthy marriage is built on communication, honesty, forgiveness, trust and respect.

We have hurt each other in the past by being unfaithful or withholding crucial information from our spouse.

Please help us to be honest with each other at all times. Help us to treat each other with love and respect even when we disagree with each other or hurt one another’s feelings. Help us to forgive one another for our mistakes so that we can move forward together without resentment holding back our progress as a couple or family unit.

We miss the intimacy that comes with being one.

We miss the intimacy that comes with being one. We missed out on the closeness, oneness and intimacy that come from being two becoming one in marriage.

We long for this again, deeply and desperately!

We want to be connected and serving one another in love. In Jesus mighty name, we pray, amen!

  • We want to be connected and serving one another in love.
  • We want our marriage to reflect God’s image of relationship, which is one of unconditional love and grace.
  • We want our families to live out the faith and walk with Him together as we grow up our children and grandchildren.

I pray that you will be connected to God and each other. I pray for your healing, restoration, and growth as a couple.
