Prayer For Forgiveness And Healing

Prayer For Forgiveness And Healing

Lord, I know that You have the power to heal and restore every part of my life. Please forgive me for thinking other things were more important, and heal every part of my life that needs healing. I want to be a better person than I was yesterday. Help me forgive others as well as myself so that we can move on from past hurts and deal with them in a positive way.

Dear Lord,

Dear Lord,

I come before you in prayer today. I ask that you would forgive me of my sins and heal me from the pain they have caused. You have restored my life, given me a new heart and renewed mind, and I thank you for your mercy upon my family.

Forgive me for all of my sins,

Forgive me for all of my sins,

for transgressing against you and causing harm to others. Forgive me for hurting myself with the things I have done, said and thought. Forgive me for not turning to you in times of need or distress. Forgive me for making excuses instead of accepting responsibility for my actions. I’m sorry that I’ve been so preoccupied with things that are temporary or insignificant compared with eternity; but thank you that even though they may seem important now, they will eventually fade away like a dream upon waking up each morning—and nothing can take away the eternal reward we receive when we give our lives over to Christ’s eternal plan!

Forgive me for not turning to you first,

If all you’re doing is asking for forgiveness, then you are still living an unbalanced life. You must also pray for healing and strength to live a better life. Pray that God will guide your decisions…

Forgive me for hurting other people,

Forgive me for hurting other people, including those who have hurt me.

Forgive me for hurting myself, in my body, my mind and my emotions.

Forgive me for being judgmental and thinking I have control over everything around me.

Forgive me for hurting myself,

Forgive me for hurting myself. I am not alone, and there is help available to me. It is ok to ask for help. I can forgive myself and learn from my mistakes so that they do not happen again.

Forgive me for being judgmental,

  • Forgive me for being judgmental.
  • Forgive me for being critical.
  • Forgive me for being unkind towards others, especially those who are hurting or vulnerable.

And forgive me for thinking I have control over everything.

Forgive me for not realizing that God has the power to heal and restore everything and everyone. I know that if we seek His forgiveness, He will never let us down. Forgive me for thinking I have control over everything, because that’s just not true. If I had realized this sooner, I wouldn’t have suffered as much or hurt others as much—especially you, God! Please forgive me for all the ways in which I failed to trust You with my problems or turned away from You when things got tough; they weren’t Your fault at all!

Forgive me for hurting those closest to me because there was no room in my heart for them anymore (or maybe there never was).

I know that You have the power to heal and restore every part of my life,

I know that You have the power to heal and restore every part of my life.

You are the giver of life, and only You can put wounded parts of me back together again. I believe that Your power is made perfect in our weakness, so I willingly give myself over to Your care.

Please forgive me for thinking other things were more important,

As you pray, remember that forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. It frees you from the pain and bitterness of past wrongs and allows you to move forward with a clean slate. Forgiveness also keeps your heart open to experiencing God’s blessings in your life now.

Forgiveness is also an act of love for others who have wronged us, because it frees them from their guilt or shame over what they’ve done. By forgiving someone who has hurt us, we show them compassion and give them an opportunity to change their ways so that they can live better lives in the future. A prayer for forgiveness can also be extended toward God if He has somehow hurt our feelings through His actions or decisions about our lives (for example: “Father, please forgive me for thinking other things were more important than spending time with You every day”). Making peace with all parties involved will help resolve any lingering resentment or anger within yourself so that they don’t interfere with your ability to experience happiness moving forward in life!

and heal every part of my life that needs healing.

  • Forgive my sins.
  • Take away the shame, guilt and pain that I have caused.
  • Heal every part of my life that needs healing.
  • Give me the strength to take back control of my life so that I may be a blessing to others rather than a burden or hindrance to them.
  • Guide me in all that I do and say today, so that it might be an act of worship to You alone!

Lord give me your forgiveness and heal the wounds in my life.

Lord, give me your forgiveness and heal the wounds in my life. I know that you are a healer, Lord. You can forgive us for our mistakes and heal us from hurtful relationships as well as physical ailments. You can remove any lies we have believed about ourselves, too; show us who you truly made us to be! Help us to remember your presence today so we can feel safe when meeting new people or making new plans for our lives—you are always with me!
