    Dear God, I come to You today in prayer. As I struggle with the pain and anguish of breast cancer, I turn to You. I don’t understand the reasons why, but I trust in You. Help me to find strength in the knowledge that my times are in Your hands and that You will never leave me or forsake me (Psalm 31:15). Give me patience for this journey, which I know is not easy. Help me to know Your love. Give me strength to be gentle with myself and know that You are my refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). As I travel this road of uncertainty give me courage and hope for each new day; for I know You will never leave me or forsake me (Joshua 1:5). Amen
