Prayer For Body Healing
Every one of us is going to get sick at some point in our lives. We are going to get injured, or we will simply feel a little under the weather for no apparent reason. Whatever the case may be, when you are sick it is important that you pray for healing.
So, what types of things can we pray for? Pray these four short prayers:
Lord, I come to you today asking for healing.
Thank you for reading my prayer. I come to you today asking for healing.
Please, Lord, help me get better so that I may be able to continue living out my purpose. If there is anything that I could have done differently in order to avoid this sickness, please let me know so that I may make the necessary adjustments in order not to fall victim again.
I know it is hard being sick and not feeling like yourself anymore but remember to keep your faith strong because it will get better eventually if we just have patience and wait on God’s perfect timing!
Jesus, I ask that you would heal me.
As you pray, Jesus will help you to know that He loves you and wants to heal you.
Jesus,
I ask that You would heal me. I know this is Your will for my life, and I want to receive Your healing power in my body. Help me to be open to Your working in me so that I can experience the fullness of life more fully than ever before. Thank You for being the healer and the helper of all who seek You! Jesus is the name of God’s son. He was sent from heaven to earth to teach us how to live as children of God and love each other. He was also sent here so that we could go back home with Him after we die. Because Jesus is our Savior, when we ask for help in our daily lives, He will always answer us if it is good for us and others around us.
Lord Jesus, thank you that you love me.
Jesus loves you. He died on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead, so that you could have eternal life with him. Jesus is the only way to God, and he wants to be a part of your life today.
It’s time to get out of your own way! The enemy has been trying to stop you from getting well for far too long in this body, but now it’s time for healing. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).
Heal me, O Lord and I shall be healed; save me and I shall be saved, for you are my praise. Amen.
He healed all of the people who were sick.
He saved all those who were alive.
He is my praise!

This prayer is an example of a litany prayer and can be used as a template for your own prayers when you are ill or hurting. It also has a great invocation of the Holy Spirit at its beginning: “Holy Spirit come upon us…” (v1). And there is a nice mix of praise and petition in it too: “praise God’s holy name…who forgives all your sins…heals all your diseases.”
O Lord, be gracious unto me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee. Amen.

Pray these prayers when you are sick or feel like praying for healing
Prayer is a powerful tool in our daily lives. As such, it should be utilized at all times—not just when we feel like it or when something goes wrong. It is important to pray for healing of the mind, body and spirit. Here are some prayers you can use on a daily basis:

I believe there is healing in prayer. The Lord has heard my prayer and has healed me. I am grateful for this healing because it comes from God, who is merciful and compassionate.
