Prayer For A Friend In Need Of Healing

I have a friend who is going through a difficult time. She has been sick for many months and I pray that God will heal her body and restore her health. I come before you, God, in the name of Jesus Christ with this prayer for my friend in need of healing.

God, you are the Most High and there is none above you.

You are all-powerful and nothing is too hard for you.

Dear God, thank you for the many blessings and joys in my life. I thank you also for the challenges that have come to me over the years. Often these trials seem overwhelming, but as I look back at them now I can see how they have been used to make me stronger and more capable of handling any situation with grace.

I am asking for your help today on behalf of my friend [name]. He is experiencing a great deal of pain at the moment which has affected his ability to work or enjoy life in any way other than lying in bed all day feeling sorry for himself. His doctors are not sure what is causing this pain or why it has persisted so long without improving much at all, even after trying everything they could think of doing. They say there is no cure available right now, but we believe there must be something else out there that will help him feel better soon!

Please heal my friend [name] from all illness so he can live normally again!

And it also declares that Jesus Christ is a healer. In fact, he told us to “go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:15-16).

I know that God wants to heal you because I’ve seen him heal others before my eyes! A friend of mine once had cancer all over her body but now she’s completely healed! This beautiful lady has no trace of cancer in her body anymore!

God said this about himself in Exodus 15:26: “I am Jehovah who heals you.” This means that if your faith is strong enough then God can use his power from heaven above to go into your body and make it well again! All we need do is ask him for help with our requests…

God cares about every detail of your life.

He is aware of the details of your life, and he knows the details of your friend’s life. He knows what she needs most right now, and he wants to give it to her. He promises that he will not forget even one detail when it comes time for him to heal her body or mind.

Therefore I come before you, confident in your love and care for my friend.

In prayer, I ask God to heal my friend.

• In the midst of this difficulty, please help my friend to know that you are with them and that they are not alone.

• There’s no question that this illness has been brought into being by an outside force; it’s not natural or normal for human beings to suffer from it. We know from scripture that Satan is responsible for all sicknesses (James 5:14) and we can be confident that he will be defeated by Jesus Christ’s saving work on the cross (1 Corinthians 15). Please help my friend feel secure in knowing that their struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces which cannot hurt them as long as they’re in your care (Ephesians 6:12).

She is so tired and weak from all of the pain she has been experiencing, but she still needs to get up every morning and go to work. She spends most of her day sitting at a desk, but due to this illness, sometimes just standing up is too much for her body. When she gets home after a long day at work, all she wants to do is sit on the couch and watch Netflix or read a book or listen to music or do anything other than cook dinner! Her energy level just isn’t what it used to be. I ask that you would give this friend rest from restless nights where she tosses and turns because of chronic pain in her back or legs; restore energy so that when she does get some sleep (which seems like only 4 hours per night), there’s enough left over for life’s many blessings like having spending time with family members who love her dearly.
