Dear Lord, I’m going through a rough time in my life. It’s hard to admit that I need help, but I do. My thoughts are all muddled and confused. I feel like it’s impossible to see the light at the end of the tunnel. (Name) is afraid of what will happen next because she has already been through so much. Sometimes it feels like her faith is slipping away, but she needs the strength to keep going. (Name) has seen too much darkness lately and needs some hope to brighten her days. Dear Lord, I’m going through a rough time in my life. It’s hard to admit that I need help, but I do.

Dear Lord, I’m going through a rough time in my life. It’s hard to admit that I need help, but I do. You know me better than anyone and you can see how much pain I am in. Please help me through this time of need so that I may one day return the favor to others who are suffering like me.

Please guide me on what steps to take first when dealing with these problems.
Please let it be clear that there is hope for me even though things seem so bleak right now.
Remind me that even though bad things happen sometimes, they don’t last forever and there will be good times again too!

Sometimes it feels like your faith is slipping away. You wonder if God is really with you and if He will help you through this difficult time. But I want to tell you that He is, and He will. In fact, I know of one verse in the Bible specifically written for people in situations just like yours: “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day; for our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:16-17). This verse tells me that even though it might feel like I am wasting away physically or mentally because of what my friend has gone through recently—and even though there may be some evidence of this happening—the truth is that God will use these events to make her stronger than she was before them. As long as she stays close to Him during this time in her life and trusts Him completely without any doubts whatsoever then she will come out stronger than ever before!

She can’t bear dealing with any more loss, but that’s exactly what she’s afraid of.

Perhaps you are praying for someone who has lost a loved one. Maybe it was their mother, father, sibling, or grandparent. Or maybe they’ve recently endured the loss of a spouse or other partner in life. They may be struggling with how to move forward and cope with such an enormous loss.

Maybe your friend is going through some type of financial hardship and it seems like there is no end in sight. They are worried about paying bills and providing for their family on a monthly basis, let alone putting anything aside for savings or retirement funds.

Maybe your friend has been fired from his job unexpectedly and now has to figure out what he’s going to do next—without much time or money!

Or maybe something else happened recently that shook up your friend’s world and left them feeling unsure about themselves and their future again…

This constant worry and fear is taking its toll on her heart and soul. She needs a break from all of this sadness.

You are the God of comfort and joy.

We ask that You would comfort her heart and soul with Your love as she goes through such a difficult time.

She needs to feel Your presence in her life, especially now. She has been so stressed out lately that it’s taking its toll on her health, both physically and mentally. She needs some relief from all of this sadness, but also some space to breathe. Show her how to move forward with confidence in You as well as herself by giving her peace of mind during this time of uncertainty, which will make it easier for her to focus on other things than worrying about what could go wrong next time around if something else happens again soon after recovering from another situation just like this one right now (or worse).

(Name) just wants a moment of peace for herself again, away from all the problems and uncertainties in her life.

You’re going through a difficult time right now. I know that you’re working hard, but things are still not improving for you. You’ve been trying so hard to get through this, but it just seems like everything is against you. You feel like giving up sometimes and letting go of all the responsibilities in your life. But then, I remember the times when we laughed together or shared our thoughts and ideas with each other freely. That was when things were simpler and more fun than they are now!

I’d like to tell you that everything will be okay soon enough; I only wish I had some way to prove it! Maybe if both of us believe strongly enough ourselves then maybe there will be some kind of sign confirming those beliefs? Nothing happens instantly though; we have no choice but wait patiently until our prayers are answered by God Himself (or whatever higher power exists).

We know that you love us all very much, so we ask that you strengthen our friend right now as she endures these trials.

We ask that you would bring peace into her heart and mind through the power of your Holy Spirit; allow Him to comfort and guide her in every decision she makes while moving forward from here on out!
