Nighttime Prayer For My Family

Nighttime Prayer For My Family

I pray that my family will be blessed as we spend time together in prayer and worship.

I pray that our home would be built on the foundation of You. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you in order that my children would see You through me. Lord, I pray that my family will abide by Your Word and not the opinions of others.

Lord, I pray that our home would be built on the foundation of You.

Lord, I pray that our home would be built on the foundation of You.

I pray that we would be united in Christ and focused on His glory.

I pray for strength for my husband as he leads our family.

Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you in order that my children would see You through me.

Lord, please help me to live a life that is pleasing to You in order that my children would see You through me.

Help my husband, children and I to be good examples of how Christians should behave on a daily basis.

Please give us the strength and courage we need each day as we face challenges, trials and circumstances.

Lord, I pray that my family will abide by Your Word and not the opinions of others.

Nighttime prayer is an opportunity to ask God to help you grow in your walk with Him and your family. In this section, we will look at the importance of having a set of rules and expectations for family members, as well as how being consistent in enforcing those rules can help us stay focused on what matters most.

Expectations should be clear from the beginning. When we first started our family, it was important for me to have expectations about how my children would behave if they lived with us. We had a talk about this before they moved in with us, so there were no surprises later on down the road when things got tough! It’s also important not only that we have clear expectations but also that we enforce them consistently—even if others don’t agree or think we are being too strict or too harsh. This means making sure that everyone knows what is expected at all times so there aren’t any surprises later on down the road when things get tough!

For example: If one person breaks an expectation by making himself/herself comfortable at home (e.g., sitting down after dinner), then all other members may feel compelled – even pressured – into doing likewise because doing otherwise would seem unfair (e..g,. “Why shouldn’t I sit? Everyone else does.”). So setting up simple rules like these can make life easier for everyone involved instead of causing confusion due to lack thereof.”

I pray that we would seek integrity and purity in living out our faith.

I pray that we would seek integrity and purity in living out our faith.

Integrity is living as God wants us to live. In other words, it’s doing what’s right even when no one is watching. If you commit yourself to walking the straight and narrow path (as narrow as it may be), you’re being honest with yourself, others, and God about who you really are—and who He really made you to be. And because sin separates us from God, we all need this kind of repentance—not just once or twice but every day of our lives!

Purity is living without any hint of impurity or evil involved in our thoughts or actions when it comes to sexual activity (Matthew 5:27-30). Purity isn’t only about what happens between two people who love each other but also includes how we think about ourselves as individuals; how others perceive us; whether we’re sexually active outside of marriage; whether any form of pornography has ever entered into our lives; etc…

Lord, I pray that my family will welcome Your presence even in tough times.

God, I pray that my family will welcome Your presence even in tough times.

When my son is struggling with anxiety and panic attacks, help him to have faith that You are near. When my daughter is going through a difficult break-up, please guide her in making wise decisions about how to handle it all. When our finances are tight this month because of an unexpected bill or car repair, make sure we have enough money for groceries and gas—and don’t let us forget our tithes!

Help me to see beyond the physical appearance of my husband’s face when he comes home from his daily commute through traffic—help me see his soul and know that You are near him every single day of his life as well!

Help us to be teachable to Your Spirit and obedient to what we learn from You.

  • Be teachable to Your Spirit and obedient to what we learn from You.
  • Help us be teachable to Your Spirit and obedient to what we learn from You.
  • Teach us how we can be more teachable and how this helps our families grow closer together in Jesus Christ.

I ask for Your guidance on how best to lead and instruct my family.

  • I ask for Your guidance on how best to lead and instruct my family.
  • I ask that You would help me be a good example to them, not only in word but also in deed.
  • Help me understand and acknowledge when it is time to discipline my children and help me do so consistently.
  • Teach me patience with their human frailties and failures, remembering that they are not perfect like their Heavenly Father is perfect.
  • I pray that You would give me wisdom on what actions or words can best lead my family back onto the path of righteousness as well as guide them through trials which we may face as a unit of God’s children striving together to build His kingdom here on Earth.

Help me to parent my children with wisdom, grace and discernment.

Parenting is a tough job. Sometimes it feels like our kids are just like us, and other times it feels like they’re completely foreign beings. That’s why we need to remember what we were taught in parenting class: children are not just a reflection of us; they are individuals with their own thoughts, feelings and personalities. The best way to do this is by being a good example (and not taking out your frustrations on your child). As parents, we must be patient with ourselves and our kids—we can’t expect them to be perfect right away. But there’s no need to punish them for their mistakes either! Instead of punishing them when they do something wrong, ask yourself what would be the best way for them learn from the mistake instead? This will help you keep things consistent even during difficult circumstances (like getting into trouble at school).

I ask for peace in our home and between our family members.

As you pray, ask God to give you peace—real peace that is a gift from Him and not a result of the absence of conflict. Peace is not the same thing as harmony or agreement; it is the fruit of the Holy Spirit within our hearts. This type of inner tranquility manifests itself in many ways:

It’s not possible to live in constant harmony with everyone all the time (and wouldn’t that be boring!). But we can choose to live out our lives with patience and love toward those around us, even when there are disagreements or tensions between us. We can choose to act like adults when there’s an issue at hand rather than resorting to screaming matches and name-calling because it makes us feel better momentarily but causes more problems later on down the line.

This is an expression of gratitude of thanksgiving for God’s provision during the day

  • Praise God for His provision.
  • Thank God for the provision He gives.
  • Thank God for providing us with everything we need to live our lives.

I know that this has been a long day and you are probably very tired. But I wanted to thank you for being such an important part of my life. It’s because of your love, support and guidance that I’ve been able to accomplish so much in my career as well as spend more time with my family. Thank you again!
