I implore thee for the sake of Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother.
I entreat thee by God’s infinite love for men, and by the tender affection thou didst bear toward Jesus Christ in His mortal life.
O faithful foster-father of God’s Son! O true spouse of Mary Immaculate! My confidence has been unshaken, but my devotion has grown cold; I have made many resolutions but carried them out only partially; I have worked hard but not strongly; I have prayed much but wrongly; I have loved much but imperfectly: thus there are many things to correct and many more to do if I am ever going to be worthy of Our Lord’s special protection which He has promised those who invoke thee with confidence.
Help me in my present and urgent petition.
O Saint Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong and so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my desires and petitions for myself and for those dear to me.

Bring us closer to you, O Saint Joseph! Help us to live as children of God and not as slaves of the world. You who were an earthly father to Jesus Christ our Savior, guide us by your prayers as we live out our vocations as fathers/mothers or guardians/teachers ourselves.

As such, this prayer asks your intercession with all that it entails: your willingness to submit yourself completely to God’s will; your willingness to offer up all that you do in honor of His Son’s sacrifice; your reliance upon Him in all things—even those which appear small or insignificant at first glance but which may later become great obstacles in one’s spiritual life (1 Corinthians 9:27).
Guard me, guide me and protect me from all danger so that I may be able to accomplish all I have undertaken for your greater honor and glory and for the good of my soul. Amen.

- In this prayer we ask St Joseph to act as our special intercessor before God the Father, in order to obtain for us the grace of a happy death.
- As you say the prayer earnestly and with faith, St Joseph will hear your petition and it will be granted by God who loves us very much!
- This consecration can also be made anytime during life or at death (if possible).
