History of the A and M Church of Christ

The church experienced rapid growth throughout the nineteenth century, largely due to its missionary work. By 1955, the church had grown to over 10,000 members nationwide. In 1988, the church adopted its present name.

Today, the A and M Church of Christ operates in thirty-seven states and in six other countries around the world.
