My heart is heavy as I write this. My 17-year-old son is currently battling a nasty cold and has been feeling very run down since he woke up on Saturday morning with a fever. He’s already lost nearly a day of school, and we’re all just hoping that he’ll make a full recovery soon. In the meantime, I thought it might be helpful to share some of the prayers that are constantly going through my mind as I watch him fight this illness.
