Prayer For Marriage Blessing
Lord, thank you so much for blessing our marriage with grace, mercy and forgiveness. Please forgive me when I have sinned against You and my spouse. Help us to show each other the love we feel in our hearts by forgiving one another without passing judgment on one another or looking back at what has happened in the past. Lord Jesus Christ, please make us into the people that You would want us to be so that we can live together as a family full of love and peace within each other’s hearts.
Father, I offer You all the praise and honor that is due to Your great name.
Pray to God
Thank God for all that He has done
Be thankful for the blessings in your life
Give thanks for the things you have been given
Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior, my Redeemer, my Comforter and Friend, You are the One with whom I want to spend forever, for You sacrificed Yourself on the cross for me.
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior, my Redeemer, my Comforter and Friend, You are the One with whom I want to spend forever. You sacrificed Yourself on the cross for me. Because of this sacrifice, I know that heaven is a reality and that there is a place reserved in it for me if I believe in You.
Jesus said He came so we would have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). If you believe in Him and ask for forgiveness for your sins then He will give you eternal life here on earth as well as heaven into eternity!
Oh Lord, please bless my marriage with the grace it needs to be more like Your own relationship with Your church.
Lord, please bless our marriage with the grace it needs to be more like yours.
He loves us unconditionally and forgives us without judging or condemning. He is patient with our flaws and merciful in the face of our sins. He is faithful even when we are not; he remains constant in spite of our human frailty. May we be so blessed by His presence in our lives that we can model it for others around us, especially those whom you’ve called into community via marriage.
Forgive me when I have been selfish and so short-sighted that I have not sought to help my spouse raise our family in a way that is glorifying of You.

I pray for the grace to help raise our children in a way that is pleasing to You, Father. May they grow up knowing Your love and guidance. Help them understand the importance of being good stewards of Your gifts, both material and spiritual. Grant us wisdom as parents, so we may learn what they need to learn most effectively and provide them with strong examples of how best to live their lives now and how best to live out their faith when they are grown up men or women who will make their own choices about whether or not they want one day enter into marriage themselves!
Please forgive them as they need forgiveness and give us both the wisdom to love one another and to show this love in our marriage relationship.

Father, we ask You to forgive and bless our marriage with Your presence.
- Forgive us for any wrongs that were committed against each other in the past which caused pain or harm.
- Give us a fresh start by removing bitterness from our hearts toward one another.
- Help us not take one another for granted or become selfish toward each other again; rather, help us see how much You have blessed us with each other’s company!
Oh heavenly Father, although we have sinned against You and one another, we pray that You would bring healing into our marriage relationship.

We are grateful for the mercy You have shown us in saving us by grace through faith in what Jesus did for us on Calvary’s cross. We humbly ask Your forgiveness, Lord, and we look forward to the day when all will be made right in Heaven with no sin remaining.
Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer for a blessing on our marriage and may we never forget the mercy You have shown us in saving us by grace through faith in what Jesus did for us on Calvary’s cross.

And thank you, Lord, that Your mercy is not limited to marriage. It is your merciful nature that allows you to forgive our sins so freely and completely. When Paul said “for by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works,” he was referring directly to how we were saved from sin by having faith in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross (Ephesians 2:8-9). He was also talking about how we are redeemed from the curse that comes with sinning against God (Galatians 3:13).
Sometimes prayer is all we can do
Sometimes all we can do is pray.
Our prayers are the most powerful thing we have to communicate with God. They are our way of seeking God’s help in our lives, thanking Him for His blessings, and asking Him to guide us through difficult times. Prayer is also a way we build our relationship with God and learn more about who He is—the kind of person who can be counted on at all times, even when things get tough.
There’s no better way to start communicating with your Heavenly Father than by saying “Father,” which means that you’re calling him “Father” because he created you as his child (John 1:12). You can also pray by addressing Jesus directly: “Jesus.” To show how much He loves us, Jesus gave up his life so that we could live forever (John 3:16). When you talk about this sacrifice during prayer, it’ll remind yourself why it’s important for me are not letting go off those bad habits—no matter how hard they may seem right now!
