Prayer For Missionary Trip

Getting ready for a missionary trip can be a daunting task. You have to figure out where you’re going, pack your bags, and find a way to afford the trip. But what if you didn’t have to worry about any of that? What if someone else did all the work for you?

Pre-trip prayer

Dear God,

Please bless my missionary trip and help me to be a good ambassador of your love.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen

The trip itself

As we prepared for our missionary trip, we were so excited to share the Gospel with as many people as possible!

We boarded the plane and started our journey. Our first stop was in Guatemala City, where we met with a group of street kids and gave them water, food, and Christian literature. It was amazing to see their faces light up when they read the scriptures!

After spending time with the kids, we flew to San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. We were so excited to see our new friends at the missions house! They welcomed us with open arms and showed us around the property. We were also able to meet some of their families who were very interested in what we were doing.

Overall, our trip was amazing! We met so many people who were interested in hearing about Jesus Christ and His love for them. We can’t wait to continue sharing His message with them in the future!

What to bring on the trip

According to the Catholic Church, there are four essential things that a missionary should bring on their trip.

First and foremost, a missionary needs to have a heart for God and a desire to serve Him. Secondly, they need the necessary tools and clothing to do their job – this includes both personal items like medications and snacks, and equipment like radios, photocopiers, or tents.
Thirdly, missionaries need funds to live on while they’re in the field – this can be provided by donations from supporters back home or through earnings from work. Finally, missionaries need support from their parishioners or church community back home – these people can provide emotional and financial assistance during the missionary’s time away.

How to pray while on the trip

Prayer is a powerful tool that can be used during missionary trips. Whether you are traveling for the first time or have been on a few missions, prayer can help you stay focused and connected to God. Here are a few tips for praying while on your mission trip:

1. Make a prayer journal. This will help you keep track of what prayers you are saying and what God is answering in your heart.

2. Pray with others. When we Pray with others, it helps us to receive guidance from the Holy Spirit and connect with other believers around the world. Find a group of people who will pray with you during your trip, or pray with a devotional study guide like Prayer Warrior 365 to help you get started.

3. Connect with your local church while on your mission trip. The closer connection that you have to God’s family, the easier it will be to maintain focus and obedience during your travels. Find an online resource like GoMissionaryGo to connect with churches near where you are traveling, or attend worship services in town when possible to make spiritual connections.

4. Pray for specific needs of those in need around you. When we connect with God through prayer, He

Post-trip prayer

When we go on a mission trip, it’s always hard to say goodbye. We’re excited to share our faith with others, and leave our comfort zone behind. But as soon as we’re back home, it’s important to take the time to thank God for His provision on the trip.

We had such an amazing time serving people in need, and we know that it was because of God’s grace that we were able to go. Here are some prayer requests for us as we Return Home:

-Please continue to guide us in ways that are best for ministry.
-Thank you for all the relationships that were formed on our trip- may those connections continue to grow in righteousness!
– May God use our experiences on this trip to help others see the need for repentance and salvation.
