Prayer For Emotional Healing And Strength
Lord, I pray that You will help me to know that love is not what makes me happy and sad. Love is who I am. Lord, I pray that You will help me to know that anger is not who I am but only a feeling I carry. Anger is the problem, not me. Lord, I pray that You will help me to know that what has happened to me in the past does not affect how much You love me today. Lord, I pray that You will help me to know that what happened yesterday cannot be changed today. But how I deal with it today can change tomorrow. Lord, I pray that You will help me to know that calling myself names is not going to make my problems or feelings go away. Only the truth can do that.
Lord, I pray that you will help me to know that love is not what makes me happy and sad. Love is who I am.
God, I pray that you will help me to know that love is not what makes me happy and sad. Love is who I am.
Love does not mean feeling good; it means acting good.
Love does not mean choosing to be with someone; it means choosing to care for them regardless of whether or not they are present in your life at the moment.
Love does not mean reacting to a situation based on how you feel about it; instead, it means responding from a place of compassion and empathy towards those around us.
Lord, I pray that you will help me to know that anger is not who I am but only a feeling I carry. Anger is the problem, not me.
Lord, I pray that you will help me to know that anger is not who I am but only a feeling I carry. Anger is the problem, not me. Help me to understand this and not be trapped in it or attempt to solve it through my own efforts alone.
Lord, I pray for healing for my heart and mind from all of the sadness, hurt and anger that has taken root within them over time. You are the healer of all things, including our emotions and thoughts; therefore, as we acknowledge this fact today I ask that you would heal me from any wounds or hurts in my heart from past events or relationships so that they may no longer hinder any part of who I am today or in the future.
Lord, I pray that you will help me to know that what has happened to me in the past does not affect how much You love me today.
I pray that you will help me to know that what has happened to me in the past does not affect how much You love me today. Your love is unconditional and it’s not based on anything I do or don’t do, feel or think. You love me because You are God and You always have been and always will be. Thank you for loving me so completely!
Lord, I pray that you will help me to know that what happened yesterday cannot be changed today. But how I deal with it today can change tomorrow.
I pray that you will help me to know that what happened yesterday cannot be changed today. But how I deal with it today can change tomorrow.
I pray that you will help me to realize that the past is over, and the future is not yet here, so only today matters. And how I deal with today will affect tomorrow.
Lord, I pray that You will help me to know that calling myself names is not going to make my problems or feelings go away. Only the truth can do that.
When we listen to others, we can hear their stories and learn from them. But when we listen to ourselves, we often think it’s a waste of time because we don’t have the answers or solutions and there is no hope. This is not true! You know yourself best and you have all of the answers you need inside. Let go of your denial and be honest with yourself about what is really going on with your emotions, behavior patterns, thoughts and feelings so that together as a team (you + God) can get through this difficult time in life successfully!
Letting go of negative self-talk will help raise your self-esteem so that you are able to develop healthy relationships with other people without feeling unworthy or inadequate. The Bible says: “Love others as much as you love yourself” – 1 Corinthians 13:4; Matthew 22:39; Mark 12:31). When someone cares about their own needs first then everyone else around them benefits too because they feel valued by having someone whom cares for them just like how family members do for each other when they take care of each other during difficult times such as illness or death occurring within families due to natural disasters such as hurricanes/tornadoes etcetera…Therefor praying “Lord please help me let go off my past sins against humanity & accept myself for who I truly am” would make sense since accepting ourselves means being able
Lord, I pray that You will help me to know that everything bad that happens in my life gives me an opportunity for growth and good things to come into my life.
Lord, I pray that You will help me to know that everything bad that happens in my life gives me an opportunity for growth and good things to come into my life. I have learned from the past and am ready for a new chapter in my life. Thank you for helping me see that there is no end to what You can do through us if we let You take control of our lives. Help us all be willing vessels of Your love so that others can see it and experience it as well. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
