As a child, I was taught the value of hard work, but never that of saving. My family struggled financially throughout my childhood, and we lived paycheck to paycheck in a tight-knit community that didn’t believe in credit cards or loans—even for emergencies. It never occurred to me or my parents that there could be any other way to live our lives; we were just grateful for what we had and trusted in God’s provision.

But even as a teenager I began developing habits that would later haunt me: buying things on impulse without considering how they might fit into our budget; spending money on expensive clothes because they were “important”; having frivolous dinners out with friends just because they sounded fun (and not considering whether or not we could afford them). These habits continued into adulthood as well: buying books without thinking about how many hours it would take me to earn enough money at my part-time job; eating out when I didn’t feel like cooking; going out with friends because it was easy rather than prioritizing time spent with family or doing something worthwhile like studying scripture instead of watching TV (which also cost money).

A good manager is someone who knows how to manage money and resources effectively. The main function of managing something well is doing it in accordance with what has been agreed upon by all parties involved in such management process (i.e., budget allocation). This also means that whatever you manage must be done according to what has been set as standard operating procedure (SOP) or protocol within your organization or ministry structure(s). To illustrate further: if your organization does not allow employees/volunteers/staff members use their own cellular phones for work-related matters during office hours then you cannot use yours during those times either!

We must act out this scripture by giving freely out of our surplus without expecting anything in return. Giving should never be considered a burden or obligation, but rather the greatest joy one can experience on earth because it brings honor to God and blesses those who receive from us. Father, please grant me wisdom as I seek ways in which I can profitably invest my money so that I may increase its value instead of having it decrease due to inflationary pressures caused by excessive debt accumulation that has resulted from living beyond one’s means.

Father, may there be no one that is financially better off than myself as a result of any transaction with me in Jesus’ name.

Father, I ask that you remove every curse from my finances and from my family’s finances as well. I bind all evil spirits that have attached themselves to our finances or are attempting to attach themselves to our finances.

Father, I bind all legal rights given by the government (right of first refusal) and spiritual rights given by the church or society (social pressure) that would hinder the ability for me to receive what belongs rightfully to me in Jesus’ name.
