Inner Peace Prayer For Peace Of Mind
Today, I pray for peace of mind. I pray that You will bring me peace and tranquility in this busy world. I pray that You will give me Your peace, which transcends all understanding, so that I may be able to live in a state of quietness within myself — free from worry about the future or regrets about the past. Help me to know that You are in control and that with You, all things are possible. Thank you that You love me, no matter what. Thank you that I can always find rest and refuge in Your arms. And thank you for Your peace which is beyond my understanding.”
Dear God, I pray today for peace in my life.
Dear God, I pray today for peace in my life. May the world be at peace.
Peace is a gift from you and I pray for it today.
My soul craves that inner tranquility that comes from knowing You are there with me, protecting me from myself and all others who would do me harm.
Help me to give up anger and hatred of those who hurt or disappoint me so that I can find happiness within myself—and in being close to You.
Give us strength to change our lives and attitudes when we need help doing so; teach us how to forgive ourselves as well as others when we have done wrongs against them; give us the courage not only to admit our mistakes but also correct them when they occur—so that all may benefit from this act of kindness toward those who love us most dearly!
Help me to know that You are in control and that with You, all things are possible.
Help me to know that You are in control and that with You, all things are possible.
I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.
Amen
Thank you that You love me, no matter what. Thank you that I can always find rest and refuge in Your arms.
Thank you that You love me, no matter what. Thank you that I can always find rest and refuge in Your arms. Thank You for giving me the strength to take care of myself.
Thank you for giving me courage and confidence when I need it most. Thank You for helping me accept those who are different from me, because they have their own path to walk through life and deserve my respect as human beings just like everyone else does.
Thank You for guiding my actions so that I don’t harm others or myself with them.”
And thank you for Your peace which is beyond my understanding.
And thank you for Your peace which is beyond my understanding.
I ask You to help me find the strength, patience and wisdom to deal with the things that I can’t change.
I ask You to give me the courage to face those things that I can change but don’t want to.
And most of all, I ask You for the faith to believe in a better future than today, even when it seems impossible.
Help me to lay aside those things which cause me anxiety, and to cast my cares on You — for You care for me!
Here are some things that you can do to help yourself have a more peaceful mind:
- Learn to let go of the little things. Don’t worry about what other people think, and don’t worry about things that you can’t control.
- Don’t stress over things that are unpredictable or difficult to predict (a big project at work, a friend’s birthday party).
Give me a spirit of faith, a spirit of trust, a spirit of courage and strength today.
- Give me a spirit of faith, a spirit of trust, a spirit of courage and strength today.
- Let me feel the peace that comes from knowing you are with me always and in everything I do.
- Help me to be at peace and in harmony with myself and others, so that our lives may be enriched by your presence in them as well.
I surrender myself to You in every situation — knowing that You have good plans for me as I walk with You one day at a time.
In the midst of life’s storms, it is easy to lose sight of God and what He has in store for us. But if we stay focused on Him and let Him lead us through each trial, we will be able to overcome whatever comes our way. Instead of focusing on where you are headed, put your full trust in God’s plan for your life. As you take this journey with Him, remember that He loves you more than anyone could ever love you or care about your well-being.
When things aren’t going well for me, I often find myself doubting my ability to get through them without giving up hope. When this happens, I try praying “God grant me patience” at least once a day until my situation improves (or at least until my attitude improves). It may seem silly at first but it helps me remember that my problems pale in comparison to what other people have gone through; so even if things don’t turn out exactly like I’d hoped they would someday soon–or even later today–I will still be okay!
Thank you Lord. Amen.
Thank you Lord. Amen.
- Thank you Lord for this day and all the many blessings that we have received in it. May they be multiplied to us a hundredfold!
- Thanks also for the gift of your Son Jesus Christ, who gave his life as a ransom for our sins, so that we may be reconciled with God through him (Romans 5:6).
- We pray for peace of mind, inner peace and tranquility during these trying times when there seems to be little rest from anxiety or stress. We ask that you would help us find the strength to carry on when our faith feels weak or lacking in hope.*
There is so much to be thankful for, and we can give thanks in all things. The key is to remember that our worries and anxieties are not the most important thing in life — God’s peace is! As you go about your day today, take some time to thank Him for the blessing of inner peace.
