Daily Prayer For Young Adults

Daily Prayer For Young Adults

Dear God, I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed. I have also sinned against others in thought, word, and deed. I ask your forgiveness on this day of ____. I am sorry for all that has happened in my life before today.

In Jesus’ Name! Amen!

Loving God,

Loving God, help me to be real with you. Help me to acknowledge my shadow-self, my deepest and darkest faults, so that they may be transformed by your presence. As I open this part of myself up to you today, help me also recognize how deeply connected we are. Help me see the grace in all things that surround me; in each person who passes through my life; in every moment shared together. Let us explore these connections as together we walk forward into new life and new love for one another—for ourselves—for our communities.

You know me better than I know myself.

God knows everything. He knows you better than you know yourself, and he knows your thoughts and feelings. God even sees into the future, so he can tell you all kinds of things about your life that have yet to happen. But it’s important to remember that being known by God isn’t just some abstract thing; it actually means something very real in your daily life. God knows your strengths, weaknesses, past experiences—even those embarrassing moments from high school or college!

God’s knowledge of you should make a difference in how you live each day because then he can help answer all sorts of questions: Should I take this job? Should I continue pursuing this relationship? What is my purpose? How do I use my gifts?

You know the hidden faults and troubles of my heart.

God knows you better than you know yourself. He knows your faults, struggles, and troubles. He knows your hidden faults, struggles and troubles of heart. He sees everything that is within us.

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard a person say that they are “going to pray for me” or “praying for my family”. This might be a small act of kindness on their part but it’s also an easy way out of having to actually put in any real work towards helping someone else get through a difficult situation in life.

A healthy prayer life requires vulnerability and honesty with ourselves first before we can truly connect with God in prayer for others around us who need His guidance, strength and wisdom during difficult times in their lives too!

Nothing is a surprise to you.

  • Nothing is a surprise to you.
  • Not even the most hidden secrets are hidden from you.
  • You know our thoughts before we even think them (Psalm 64:6; 139:2; Proverbs 14:21).
  • You know how our hearts feel, and that’s why your words comfort us (Psalm 119:50).
  • Everything we do is in front of your eyes and nothing can escape your knowledge (Job 34:21).

Yet, I often try to hide these things from you.

The second thing I want to say is that I often try to hide these things from you. I know the Lord would want me to be real with Him and with myself, but it’s difficult for me at times.

When we are honest with God, we reveal our need for Him. That can be scary because then He will confront us about our sin and point out where we have failed in our walk with Him. It is not easy being confronted by someone who knows all your faults and downfalls better than anyone else—and that’s why it took Jesus dying on the cross before any of us could have access into Heaven! But this is what makes our relationship with Christ so beautiful: He loves us despite our failure and gives us grace when we mess up (1 John 4:18).

I even try to hide them from myself.

When we begin to pray, we often try to hide our sins from ourselves. We may even try to hide them from God. This is because we know that prayer is an act of worship, and we don’t want anything about us to be less than perfect in heaven’s sight. But if our prayers are not honest with God, then they cannot be effective in bringing healing or renewal into our lives.

I have seen too many people who have suffered long periods of depression because they have hidden their struggles from others, only for them to explode into something bigger (and much more powerful) at some point later on down the road. The same thing happens when a person struggles with pornography or sexual addiction: sometimes these things can remain hidden for years before being discovered by someone else who has been hurt by it–or worse still–by oneself!

So go ahead: be honest both with yourself and others about how you struggle; ask them how they feel about what you’re going through; seek out support groups like AA meetings where people share their experiences openly so that no one will feel alone during such difficult times!

Help me to be real with you today.

Prayer is a conversation with God. It’s not a magic spell, and it’s not a way to get God to do what you want. Prayer is a way of getting closer to God. If you look at prayer as an opportunity for growth and personal development, then it becomes something that can have tangible results in your life and relationships.

For example, when I think about the times when I’ve had my prayers answered—when they’ve been answered in ways that were beyond my expectations—it’s often because those answers came through people who I didn’t even know at all! So if we think about our connection with God as being strong enough to bring us closer together with others (and therefore strengthen our relationships), then this gives us even more reason than ever before why we should be praying every day instead of just waiting until something happens before we say “thanks!”

To acknowledge all the ways in which I can improve as a person.

I pray for the courage to be honest with myself. I pray for the courage to be honest with God, and I pray for the courage to be honest with others about my faults.

Help me not to live in denial of my shadow-self, but to bring my deepest, darkest faults into the light of your presence for healing, for forgiveness, for transformation.

Dear God,

I pray for your forgiveness. I am so sorry for all the ways I have hurt myself and others through my words and actions. Please help me not to live in denial of my shadow-self, but to bring my deepest, darkest faults into the light of your presence for healing, for forgiveness, for transformation.

In Jesus’ name I pray;

Prayer is a way to talk to God. It’s a form of communication that can help you express your deepest feelings, gratitude, and love for God.

There are many types of prayer:

  • Prayer of thanksgiving—when you thank God for the things in your life that are good and make you happy (e.g., family, friends).
  • Prayer of praise—when you thank God for the things in your life that make him proud (e.g., helping others).

Prayer For Young Adults

Prayer is a way for you to communicate with God. The Bible says that “we have not because we ask not” (James 4:2). In other words, if you don’t ask God for something, then He won’t give it to you. So when you pray, be specific about what exactly is your need and desire. If there’s an area of your life where things aren’t going well or if there’s something that has been bothering your mind and heart lately, tell Him about it!

Prayer doesn’t always come easy at first but with practice, anyone can learn how to pray effectively – especially young adults who are still struggling with some issues in their life such as the breakup of relationships, family conflicts etc… The key thing here is perseverance! If at first we fail then we try again until we succeed! This means that sometimes our prayers may not be answered immediately but with continued prayer over time God will answer them eventually so don’t give up hope on praying folks!

I hope that this article has been helpful in giving you a better understanding of how to pray for young adults. As you can see, there are many ways to approach your prayers and they should be tailored to each individual person. The most important thing is that they are genuine and sincere so that God can work through them!
