Most Holy Virgin, Queen of Heaven and Earth, Mother of Jesus and our Loving Mother,

Most Holy Virgin, Queen of Heaven and Earth, Mother of Jesus and our Loving Mother.

In your Immaculate Heart I place before you all my needs, desires and concerns. Open wide the fountain of mercy for me that it may be filled with grace and blessings from above in an abundance which will flow to those who need them most. In this way thy Heart will be comforted as thou seest the good being done throughout the world.

I surrender to thee all my faults, omissions and sins at every moment of my life; I entrust myself entirely into thy hands so that thou mayest dispose of me as thou wilt according to thy designs on earth as they were in heaven. Thou knowest better than anyone how best to guide us along our way so that we may reach our goal – eternal happiness in heaven where there is no more sorrow or pain but only peace and joy everlasting…

I consecrate myself to you and to your Immaculate Heart.

The Immaculate Heart of Mary is the seat of God’s love for us and also a powerful one. It is powerful because it can do anything for us, but it requires our cooperation. When we consecrate ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we are giving her our body and soul in order for her to work through them as she pleases.

The consecration prayer is divided into three parts:

  • Prayer to Our Lady (first part)
  • Act of Consecration (second part)
  • Prayer after Consecration (third part)

I give you all my thoughts, words and deeds,

To the Immaculate Heart of Mary I give all my thoughts, words, and deeds. I surrender to you all my sufferings and joys. I consecrate to your Immaculate Heart my whole life and death.

Amen

All my sufferings and joys,

All my sufferings and joys,

Great is the gift of your suffering, O Immaculate Heart of Mary. Your sorrows are a sign that you are truly human, like we are. It was in your humanity that you were able to understand the depth of the Father’s love for us. In your life on earth, you suffered greatly because of sin. You saw how much our sins hurt God and His creation; they also hurt us! For this reason we turn to you in sorrow and ask for intercession and help in times when our own suffering seems unbearable or unjustified.

The Father has given me many gifts through this devotion—joys which I would never have experienced otherwise; gratitude for each one knows no bounds!

My whole life and death.

In the name of Jesus Christ and by His authority, I consecrate my whole life and death to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I promise that I will become a saint through the grace of God, if he wants me to be one.

I promise that I will never do anything which may displease God or harm someone else.

I promise that I will sacrifice myself for the love of my heavenly Father and for his glory; especially in doing good works for others.

Please accept my gift to you this day.

We ask you to accept our offering of this prayer and to use it as a tool for your service in helping us to live the holy life.

Because You are the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of God and Queen of Heaven, we humbly offer ourselves as Your children in union with Your Son, Jesus Christ. May all devotion be given through you to Our Lord who is King and Prince of Peace.

From today forward, I consecrate myself without reserve for the glory of God:

to fulfill His will;

to obey Him completely;

to love Him always;

and above all things else—even life itself—to serve Him faithfully until death may come at last upon me!

Please teach me to love God with my whole heart

Please teach me to love God with my whole heart.

This prayer is about the importance of loving God with your whole self, and how you can do this. It has been said that there are many ways to love God but only one way that is sufficient: loving Him completely, completely surrendering yourself to Him so that He becomes your life and you become His instrument. The Immaculate Heart of Mary teaches us how we can achieve this goal by offering our very best efforts towards achieving it. When we place all our hopes in Our Lady’s intercession before her Son Jesus Christ, she will reveal herself as our Mother who never fails us in providing comfort or protection when we feel discouraged or afraid. We must seek out her guidance because she loves us immensely; therefore, she wants nothing more than for us to be happy.

And serve my fellow man with a loving heart.

And serve my fellow man with a loving heart.

I consecrate myself to You, O Immaculate Heart of Mary in the name of Jesus, that I may be worthy to receive from Your pierced Heart all the graces necessary for salvation and for leading a holy life. Amen!

Obtain for me a grateful spirit for all your blessings.

As the Immaculate Heart of Mary, you have been blessed with a gift most women can only dream of: the gift of God’s love. You were chosen by Him to be His mother, and He entrusted you with so many incredible tasks that no other woman has ever been given. You carried Jesus Christ in your womb for nine months; you gave birth to Him and watched over Him as He grew up; and you sacrificed yourself so that He could die on behalf of all humanity. How could we possibly thank you enough?

The answer is simple: we can’t! This is why gratitude is such an important virtue; it helps us see how much we owe others who have done great things for us. We need to feel thankful even when they’ve done something small or seemingly insignificant; even if they haven’t done anything at all! The fact that someone has shown compassion toward us shows how much more love there is in the world than hatred—and this should make us grateful beyond words.

Give me the grace to know you better, love you more and follow you more closely each day.

My dear Lord and God,

I consecrate myself to you with all my heart. I offer to you my whole being, that it may be worthy of your love and devoted service.

May the light of your grace shine upon me and lead me on the way of salvation. May your Immaculate Heart teach me how to know you better, love you more and follow you more closely each day. Strengthen my faith so that I may believe firmly what is revealed in Scripture about the life of Christ, his death on the cross for our redemption, his resurrection from the dead and his ascension into heaven where now he hears our prayers as we pray in His Name.

May Mary’s intercession obtain for me all that is necessary for salvation so that through her merits I may become a child of God who leads others safely into eternal life by following Jesus’ example as he taught us during his earthly ministry (John 17:3). Amen!!

Use this prayer to consecrate yourself to Our Lady.

Use this prayer to consecrate yourself to Our Lady. Consecration is a means of surrendering oneself to God, and it is a way of life. Consecration means that we make ourselves over entirely for God’s service and love (Catechism #1828). In consecration, you give yourself entirely to God so he can use your whole being for his purposes (Catechism #1826). It is not something that you do once or only occasionally; it must be an ongoing commitment if we are going to live out the fruits of being Christ’s disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).

As you recite this prayer, keep in mind that it is only the beginning of a lifelong journey to know and love Our Lady. As she continues to guide you, remember that she will never leave your side.
