When my daughter in law told me that she was pregnant, I was overjoyed. As the mother of three girls, I knew that my grandson would be an amazing addition to our family.
My daughter in law and I were both young when we got married, and we had always been a close family. We welcomed our son into the world quickly and celebrated every milestone together.
As time went on, however, my daughter in law became distant. She stopped talking to me and would often ignore her son. I knew that something was wrong, but I didn’t know what to do to help.
