Prayer For Nations Bible Verses

Prayer is an important part of any faith, and it can be especially helpful when we are facing difficult circumstances. The following Bible verses offer guidance on how to pray for our nations. Read them and think about how you can use them in your own prayers.

Prayer For Nations Bible Verses

Prayer is a powerful tool for lifting up those who are struggling. Whether you’re facing personal challenges or addressing larger issues in your community, prayer can help give you the strength to persevere.

Here are five prayers that can be especially beneficial when it comes to nations:

1. “Lord, lead us not into temptation.” – Matthew 6:13
2. “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.” – Luke 6:37
3. “Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.” – Jeremiah 17:9
4.” Lord, make your face to shine upon Your servant and be gracious to me according to Your faithfulness.” – Esther 4:14
5. “Lead us not into darkness but deliver us from evil.” – John 12:35

A Prayer for Nations

God, we come to you in prayer today as we look at some of the verses that talk about prayer for nations.

In Jeremiah 7:12-13, we read that God says, “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. This covenant will be different from the one I made with their fathers when I took them out of the land of Egypt. My laws will be their laws, and my statutes their statutes; they will be My judgments on earth.
“I will put My law within them and write it on their hearts.” Then I will be their God, and they will be My people.

It is clear from this passage that prayer for nations is an important part of God’s plan for His people! When we pray for nations, we are asking Him to help guide and lead them according to His ways – so that they can grow and thrive in peace and harmony.

In Isaiah 41:10-11, we read about a time when all the nations of the world will bow down before God – because He is righteous and has done great things (like creating us!). At that time, God

Blessings

There are three key blessings we can pray for our nations: national security, food security, and economic prosperity.

National Security
We need to pray for national security because a nation without peace is not a strong nation. A nation that is constantly in war or on the brink of war is not able to defend its borders or provide for its people. We need to pray for a return to peace so that our nations can focus on more important things and grow stronger.

Food Security
We also need to pray for food security because without enough food, there will be mass starvation and pandemics. Many people in the world don’t have enough to eat, and this problem is only going to get worse. Not only will there be mass starvation, but there will be economic chaos as well. Praying for food security will help us avoid these disasters.

Economic Prosperity
Last but not least, we need to pray for economic prosperity. A prosperous nation has stable finances, low unemployment, and high levels of education and innovation. These are all good things! If we can increase the wealth and stability of our nations, we will be in a much better position both morally and militarily.

Hope

“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit. And I will remove from your heart all the deceit of your fathers.” – Ezekiel 36:26

When we allow ourselves to be open to God’s Word and His guidance, we are given hope. Hope is not a light that fades with time, but rather it is an ever-present source of strength and encouragement in the face of difficulty. We can find hope in Scripture when we read about God’s promises to His people.

In Isaiah 42:9-11, God promises to restore the fortunes of Zion and give her back herFormer glory. He promises to heal the brokenhearted and bring them back into the land. These verses remind us that despite our current circumstances, God always has a plan for us and He is always working on our behalf.

We can also find hope in God’s words when we look at how He has dealt with other nations throughout history. For example, in Psalm 87:4-7, David sings about God’s deliverance from Egypt. In Exodus 14:13-15, Moses leads the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and into freedom in the Promised Land. These stories show us that no

Strength

There are many scriptures that give encouragement to nations. In this series, we will look at a few specific passages that offer strength to nations.

Psalm 23:1-6
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul; he leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

These verses declare that the Lord is our shepherd and will protect us from danger. We can trust him to guide us and protect us, even in difficult times. This passage offers reassurance to any nation who is feeling vulnerable or threatened.

Protection

There is not a nation on earth that is immune from danger. In fact, no nation is exempt from the curses written about in the Bible (Deuteronomy 28:17-68). However, through prayer and protection from God, nations can be blessed and endure for generations.

Here are some scriptures to consider when seeking protection for your nation:

“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.” (2 Samuel 12:23-24)
“And I will establish my covenant between me and you and with your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto them and to give them the land that I swore to your fathers.” (Genesis 17:7)
“And may the Lord work with us for good, to make a right deliverance, and end all these things that are happening, so that all the families of the earth may fear him” (Jeremiah 30:17)
“O LORD our God, thou art one Lord; thou hast not created us for thyself alone, but thou hast brought us out of
