Family Prayer For Strength
Dear Lord, we thank You for providing us with an opportunity to pray together as a family. We are grateful that You have blessed each one of us with the gift of faith. We ask that You would continue to guide and protect us throughout this day as we move forward in our journey towards eternity. We ask Your forgiveness for our sins and thank You for allowing us to be redeemed through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. May He strengthen us spiritually today so that we can fulfill Your will in all things; may our thoughts, words and deeds bring glory unto His name forevermore – Amen!
Let’s pray.
It is wonderful that we can pray to God at any time, in any place. Prayer is a way to communicate with our Heavenly Father and he will listen to us if we are sincere and humble. He hears our prayers whether they are spoken or silent so you can pray silently while you’re driving in your car or reading a book or doing anything else!
When you feel grateful for something good that happened, express gratitude to your Heavenly Father by saying thank you in prayer. If there are things that are bothering or worrying you, bring them up when you pray so He knows what’s on your mind; this helps Him guide you through difficult times and make wise decisions for yourself and others around you who may be affected by those decisions. Sometimes it’s hard to find words but remember: God understands what we mean even if our words aren’t exactly right!
If there’s something specific troubling your heart about another person (maybe someone did something mean), ask God what His advice would be before talking with them directly about it because sometimes people don’t realize how their words affect others until after they say them out loud – then things get awkward 🙂 But no worries – just talk things through with Jesus first 🙂
Dear Lord,
Dear Lord, I pray for strength.
I pray for my family.
I pray for my health.
I pray for my finances.
I pray for my relationships.
- And I am so thankful that you’re in control.*
We are in need of strength.
We are all in need of strength. We all struggle at times to keep our faith strong and our families together, and we all face challenges that seem insurmountable. But God is with us always—both when we feel weak, as well as when we feel strong.
We must remember this truth: God does not call us to be strong for ourselves alone, but also for others who need us as well. This means that our families can benefit from prayer just as much as we do! There are many ways that you can pray with your family members so they can grow closer together while relying on God’s strength within them.
The key is keeping the lines of communication open between each other; no matter what happens or how bad things get, it’s important not only what’s going on inside their heads but also outside the home (at school or work) because those situations aren’t always easy either but have an effect on everyone regardless if there living under one roof or separate ones somewhere else around town/countryside/worldwide(?).
The burdens we face each day threaten to overwhelm the best of us.
The burdens we face each day threaten to overwhelm the best of us. The pressures of modern life are relentless and unrelenting, and they threaten to destroy our faith in God, our hope for the future, and even our ability to love others as Christ loved us.
As a family, you can stay strong through prayer. Not only will prayer strengthen your relationships with one another, but it will also help you fight through the challenges of daily life so that you can turn them into opportunities for service or growth.
Prayer is not something that should be done rarely or only when things are going well—it’s an essential part of daily life for every Christian family who wishes to follow God’s will on earth as it is in heaven!
And we can’t make it alone. We need your help.
God has given us a spirit of power, love and self-control. Now he’s calling on us to use that power, love and self-control in our families so that we can overcome any trial that comes our way.
We need your help!
As we strengthen one another spiritually, it will empower us to stand strong against whatever comes our way as well as encourage others who are facing their own trials.
Bless me with spiritual strength and courage when I am weak or fearful. Help me to see the good throughout each trial that You allow into my life. Protect my mind from negative thoughts and give me a positive outlook. Show me how to do things right and allow me to have peace in my heart as I move forward each day with confidence knowing that You are with me always.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Bless me with spiritual strength and courage when I am weak or fearful. Help me to see the good throughout each trial that You allow into my life. Protect my mind from negative thoughts and give me a positive outlook. Show me how to do things right and allow me to have peace in my heart as I move forward each day with confidence knowing that You are with me always.
Guide my family’s every thought, word and deed according to Your will so that we may fulfill Your purpose for our lives while on this earth. Give us wisdom, protection, direction and discipline in order to live godly lives that please You and honor the sacrifices of Christ. Draw us closer together as a family unit so that we may strengthen one another through prayer and encouragement to walk in obedience unto You at all times. Increase our love for each other so that we may model after Christ’s relationship with His church.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for the strength to walk in Your will for my life. Help me to remember that Your purpose for me is greater than any earthly desires or ambitions I may have. I want to please You with all that I do and say, therefore give me wisdom, protection, direction and discipline in order to live godly lives that please You and honor the sacrifices of Christ. Draw us closer together as a family unit so that we may strengthen one another through prayer and encouragement to walk in obedience unto You at all times. Increase our love for each other so that we may model after Christ’s relationship with His church.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen means, “So be it.”
Amen is a word that affirms and agrees with what has been said. It also indicates a commitment to follow through on what has been said.
It is a word of resignation, acceptance and confirmation.
May you find strength in your faith today!
Prayer is a very important part of the Mormon faith. When we pray, we are communicating with our Heavenly Father and asking Him for help in our daily lives.
We can pray for all sorts of things: strength, wisdom, protection, direction in life, or discipline. We can even ask God to help us forgive other people! The best thing about praying is that it helps you feel closer to Him and reminds you that He loves each one of us equally—no matter who they are or what they’ve done.
The bible says that we should live our lives as servants of God. In other words, we should strive to serve others in every way possible. This means that when you pray for strength, you can be sure that your prayers will be answered if they are from a good heart and done within God’s will.
