Daily Prayer For Kids

Dear Lord, thank You for this new day. I know that You are always here with me, even when I don’t feel it. I lift my hands and my voice to bless You. Thank You for the gift of a new day, Father!

Dear Lord,

Dear Lord,

Thank you for this day and thank you for my life. Please forgive me of all of my sins, big and small. Help me to be a better person today than I was yesterday.

Thank You for the gift of a new day.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of a new day. Thank You for giving me another opportunity to serve You, serve others and serve my family. I praise Your name!

For as long as I can remember I have been blessed with good health and a sound mind. Because there are many people who don’t enjoy these blessings, I want to use this day to do something good for them by donating blood at the local blood bank today.

I lift my hands and my voice to bless You.

Prayer is a blessing. It can be a form of worship and communication with God. It’s a way to connect, praise and thank Him. When you pray, you are focusing your thoughts and words on the One who created you and your world, so that you may give thanks for all His blessings in your life.

The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 that “there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (NIV) This means that all people have access through prayer to God through Christ! Children are not excluded – if we teach them early on how to pray by example then they will learn how important it is too!!

I am thankful for every thing that You have blessed me with.

I am thankful for every thing that You have blessed me with. Thank you Lord for my hands and feet, thank you for my eyes and ears, thank you for my heart, mind and soul. Thank you for the things I have learned from my mistakes and experiences. Thank you for helping me through tough situations by giving me strength when I need it most. Help me to continue being grateful in all things great or small because without gratitude there is no joy!

Forgive me for my sins and shortcomings, keep me from evil, Lord.

Before you start, it’s important to remember that prayer is a two-way conversation. Just as you are asking God for things, so he will ask you for things as well. Asking for forgiveness and protection from evil are fairly standard requests in any religion, but there are other types of prayers that can help kids find their own style of worship.

A good place to start is with guidance: a prayer asking God to show us the right path in life and keep us on it when we stray off course. Another popular request among Christians is an acknowledgement of our shortcomings—that we’re not perfect and need guidance every step of the way.

You may also want your children to think about what they hope will happen as part of their relationship with God: whether they look forward to peace, strength or healing through his power and love (or all three!). The best way for children who aren’t quite ready yet for full-out worship without parental supervision is by making sure first that everyone knows what kind of person God wants them each individually become before diving into anything else like prayer rituals or other religious practices.”

It’s another day to get closer to You in all ways. I know You are here with me every step of the way. Touch my heart and mind so that I can live according to Your will. Amen!

Prayer is a way to connect with God, thank Him, ask for forgiveness and guidance. Prayer can be done anywhere at any time. It doesn’t matter if you are in your bedroom or out in the garden or even in the car on a long trip. If you feel like it, pray!

Let’s start by praying for protection: “I pray that God will protect me from every evil force and keep me safe from all harm. Amen.” Or perhaps we need to pray for a friend: “Lord Jesus Christ, I ask You to watch over my best friend today as she travels home from school today.”

Find peace in prayer

There are so many reasons to pray. Prayer is a way to communicate with God and find peace, strength, and focus in the midst of any situation. Here are some ways prayer can help you:

  • Pray for guidance in making decisions
  • Pray for protection when doing hard things like asking someone out or studying for a test
  • Pray for comfort when you’re feeling scared or alone
  • Pray for courage to do what’s right even if it means disappointing others

It’s important that we teach our children how to pray. It shows them that their voice is valued and their thoughts are counted. Prayers help them focus on the things they need in life and also encourage them to be thankful for all of the blessings they have been given.
