St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. We humbly pray for your intercession before God, Who made you chief of all angels and gave you charge of the heavenly host. We ask you to help us in our struggle against the evil spirit and his followers, who wage war against us day and night. In particular we beseech your protection over N., (name), so that he/she will never be overcome by temptation or fall into sin; rather help them to resist every attraction of flesh or spirit which would lead them astray from God’s law or harm their health or peace.

Saint Michael, warrior in defense of truth and justice, protect us from all deception and falsehood! Help us live peacefully with each other no matter what differences may divide us; protect our families! Defend those who cannot defend themselves against any threat: children; women who are alone or sickly; those who have been wronged by others – especially those who suffer at home because they are abused physically or emotionally by someone close to them – those suffering from financial difficulties through no fault of their own…

• Saint Michael Prayer: The Prayer of Saint Michael (also known as the Prayer of Saint Michael the Archangel) is a prayer addressed to Saint Michael, an angel in Biblical literature. The prayer is intended for protection from evil and temptation when facing danger or adversity. It has been used by Christians since at least medieval times and was added by Pope Leo XIII in 1886 as part of his General Thanksgiving prayers for use on St. Michael’s Day (September 29). In 1892, Pope Leo XIII also decreed that it be recited daily after low Masses at all church altars throughout the world in thanksgiving for deliverance from evil and oppression by enemies.
