Invocation Prayer For Meeting

Loving Father, we are gathered here today in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. As we come before you today Father, to worship you and to thank you for all that you do for us. We acknowledge from our hearts that you are indeed a great God and worthy of all praise. Help us to make much of you in this meeting and may your glory fill this place.

In Jesus name I pray…Amen

Loving Lord, I thank You that You have called me into fellowship with other Christians. I thank You Lord that we are united together in You and that You are unifying us together as Your body on earth. Father I pray that out of our unity Your glory may be seen by the world around us. May our meeting bear good fruit for Your kingdom purposes here on earth.

An important part of our Christian life is fellowship with other Christians. We are not meant to be isolated, but rather have a community where we can share the joys and difficulties of our faith. We are also called to live in unity with one another as believers in Christ. It is this unity that helps us grow closer to God and to one another, because it allows us to feel more comfortable sharing our thoughts, feelings and experiences with each other.

In this prayer for a meeting you will pray that God would strengthen your relationship with those present at the meeting by giving them wisdom for answering difficult questions about their faith; you will also pray that God would strengthen their faith so that they may witness his love through their words and actions; finally you will pray for the success of those who are leading or speaking at your meeting – maybe because it’s going well or maybe because there were some unexpected challenges during the event!

Take each one here present, Lord, and use them to build up this body in love. Show them how they can use their gifts effectively for the benefit of others and help them not to get sidetracked by pride or jealousy or things that exalt themselves against You as they seek to build up one another.

Let Your Holy Spirit work in those who are here today so that they may be a blessing to all who come into contact with them. May their lives become strong and full with all that is good, true and beautiful; may they shine like stars in the darkness of this world; may they grow into maturity through Christ Jesus our Lord!

Loving Father, You have said in Your word that if two of us shall agree upon anything on earth it shall be established by You in heaven. So we join our hearts together now as we agree upon what needs to be done in this situation. And we ask it all in Jesus’ name, Amen

As you begin this meeting, pray for the people involved. Pray that they would be receptive to what God has to say through you today. Pray also that their hearts would be softened and willing to receive whatever it is that God wants them to know as they listen in on your prayers.

Pray for yourself as well. Ask God to give you wisdom and understanding so that you can properly convey His message through your words and actions during this meeting.

I know that you have heard many invocations in your time, but I hope these can bring you some inspiration.
