Elijah Prayer For No Rain

Lord, I know that it does not please You to see Your people suffering from a lack of rain. So Lord, I come to You today asking for rain. We ask for rain on our homes and on our land, on our city and upon our country. Send the rains down upon us Lord so that we may have an abundance of water to drink and to use in this drought. We thank You in advance for hearing our prayers and providing what is needed during this time of drought

Lord, You know that we are in a drought.

Lord, You know that we are in a drought. You know the people who are suffering because there is no rain. I am asking you to send rain upon our land, so that it might be fruitful once again and provide us with food and water.

We know that you have heard the cries of Your people and we thank you for all the prayers that You have answered for us.

Dear God, we thank you for all the prayers that You have answered for us. We know that you have heard our cries and we are grateful for your mercy, love, grace and faithfulness.

We understand that there are many who are hurting because they have been affected by this drought. We ask that You would provide comfort to them in their times of need.

You are our Provider and Protector; we long to see rain come back to California so the crops can grow again! We pray that the rains will be gentle enough not to cause any damage but strong enough to bring relief from this awful heat wave we have experienced through these past few months!

You are a loving God who cares for His creation, and He cries when the land becomes desolate (Amos 8:9). You are the one who created all things and they were made by Him (John 1:3). You are the great Shepherd who watches over His flock in love (Hebrews 13:20), and you will provide for them because you care about them (Psalms 23:1).

With this knowledge, I ask that you would heal our lands from drought as well as our hearts from despair over what has happened to us in recent months. Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us!

So Lord, I come to You today asking for rain.

I ask that it will be so plentiful and abundant that the earth is saturated with water all over the world.

I ask that it will fall from the heavens like a gentle mist or like a heavy downpour.

Lord, I pray for this for my family and friends around the globe who have been suffering due to drought conditions recently because of extreme heat waves and lack of rainfall leading up to harvest season which is now beginning here on earth as we speak Lord Jesus Christ our Savior!

When praying for rain with this method, it is important to understand that there are times when the Lord has ordained a certain amount of suffering in order to bring about a greater good (see Romans 5:3-4). This is why we need to look at each situation individually before judging if it should be prayed over or not. However, once you know what God wants you to do with your life and how He wants you to serve Him then He will show His divine favor upon whatever situation arises as well as provide what’s needed so everything will work out well in the end–it just takes some patience on our part until then.”
