Easter Prayer For Families

Easter Prayer For Families

We gathered around the table yesterday and I asked each member of my family to say what they were grateful for. We all had different things to say, but one thing stood out among us: we are thankful for our family.

God,

God is the creator of the universe and all life on earth. He created us, your family, in his image as well. He creates a bond between you and your family that cannot be broken. This bond is important because it connects you to each other and reminds you that even though we are separated by distance, time or circumstance we will always be connected through this bond of love that was formed through God’s creation.

God created the earth and everything on it so that we could live here together with him as one big happy family.

We pray for peace in our hearts so that we can enjoy our lives together as a safe place where everyone knows they belong. Press Tab to write more…

we gather around the table with hearts full of thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving at Easter is a time to give thanks to God for his blessings, and also to give thanks for family and friends. We gather around the table with hearts full of thanksgiving. We eat together, we laugh together, we share stories about our children or grandchildren and what they are doing these days. We talk about our work or school experiences in college or other places that shaped us into who we are today. The holiday foods are prepared by loving hands who brought them from their own kitchens with love so that they would nourish us during this special time together as families!

We are grateful for the blessings you have bestowed upon each member of our family.

In this section, list the blessings you are grateful for. Include the big and small things, as well as spiritual and hidden blessings. For example:

  • We are thankful for our beautiful home in which we can live together and raise our children.
  • We are grateful that we all have food to eat every day.
  • We are thankful that Mommy has a job so she can provide for us financially even though it makes her tired sometimes.

Some blessings are obvious, like food on our table, clothes on our bodies and a roof over our heads.

  • Some blessings are obvious, like food on our table, clothes on our bodies and a roof over our heads.
  • Other blessings might not be so obvious, like being surrounded by people who love us and make us feel safe (or being with friends who lift our spirits).
  • Still other blessings may be intangible or hard to see at first glance: like peace of mind or a sense of purpose in life (or making others happy).

But some of your blessings are spiritual and hidden, such as your presence among us and in our lives.

  • God’s presence in our lives.
  • God’s presence in our families.
  • God’s presence in our homes.
  • God’s presence in our hearts. You are holy, Lord, the foundation of all things good and true! We thank you for your love that unites us as a family unit: husband and wife and children; brothers, sisters and grandparents; nieces and nephews—each one of us precious to you for our own reasons that we may never fully understand as long as we live on this earth! We thank you for the special blessing of life itself—that each one of us is able to see the sun rise each morning after darkness has passed; that each one of us is able to breathe fresh air into tired lungs day after day without fail; that each one of us can recognize another person’s face before they speak their name—and even more so, recognize those around them who need help or care especially when they themselves cannot do so alone anymore due either illness or age which come eventually even though most people try hard not think about it because then they might start worrying about themselves someday too…

We thank you now for Jesus, who freely gave his life to save us from sin.

We thank you now for Jesus, who freely gave his life to save us from sin.

We thank you now for Jesus, who has forgiven us and made us new.

We thank you now for Jesus, who is living with us to bring peace into our lives.

We thank you now for Jesus, who teaches us how to live in love through his example of selfless sacrifice.

His sacrifice reminds us that we can never earn salvation…it is your gift to us.

When you think about Easter, you may think about the resurrection, but there is another important part of this holiday that we sometimes forget: The sacrifice.

Jesus gave his life on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins so that we could be forgiven and have eternal life with God. We can’t earn salvation through our own good works; it’s a gift given freely to anyone who believes in Jesus. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done—if you believe in Him and accept His sacrifice, then He will save your soul from eternal separation from God (Romans 6:23).

There are many different ways to celebrate Easter throughout all your relationships–whether that be with family members or friends or coworkers–but let’s focus on how we can use this day as an opportunity to share Christ’s love with others!

Help us to teach our children the story of Jesus’ birth, life and sacrifice…for it is the most important story we can ever teach them.

  • We pray that you will bless us with the ability to teach our children the story of Jesus’ birth, life and sacrifice…for it is the most important story we can ever teach them.
  • Help us to open our hearts and minds so that we may feel your love for each other and others through this uniquely beautiful season.
  • Help us to see your hand in all things, even those things that seem impossible on this earth as they do not compare to what you have planned for us in heaven.

Teach us how to be thankful for both the big and small things in life.

Teach us how to be thankful for both the big and small things in life.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day busyness of life, but if you practice gratitude, it will help you feel more fulfilled and satisfied with what you have. Gratitude is a skill that can be learned; when we focus on what we’re grateful for, it helps us appreciate all that our family has done for us—and gives us an opportunity to thank them!

Help us not take anything you have given us for granted…like the blessing of family.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Ephesians 2:10.

Being a parent is not easy work. Nor is it always fun or rewarding. But one thing that makes parenting worthwhile and rewarding is seeing the positive impact you have on your children’s lives as they become adults who make their own way in this world and create families of their own. Giving birth to another human being and raising him or her into adulthood is quite possibly one of the most difficult tasks a person can choose to take on, but it also has great rewards—as long as you never take them for granted!

We know that we are blessed because you put all these good things into our lives, and we praise you for it.

Our God, we thank you for all the good things in our lives. We praise you for the people who are a part of our family, for those who love us and whom we love. We praise you for the jobs that help us support our families and pay our bills, for the food on our tables and clothes on our backs, for health and safety, peace and stability.

We know that we are blessed because you put all these good things into our lives, and we praise you for it!

Thanking God for his love and blessings

Thank you, God, for loving us. Thank you for giving us a world to live in. Thank you for the families that we have and the people who make them up. We thank you for making our bodies and minds, so that we can do good things with them every day. We thank you for all of the blessings that come from being alive on this planet Earth at this time in history—the food we eat, the clothes we wear (especially those made with love), and everything else that makes life worth living!
