I Need Prayer For Healing

I Need Prayer For Healing

If you’re looking for a church in the Phoenix area, I have some good news. There are plenty of churches and pastors in the area who would be happy to pray with you and help you on your journey toward healing.

Q&A with Pastor Mike Housholder

Q: How long have you been a pastor?

A: I’ve been a pastor for about seven years now, but I’ve been in ministry for much longer than that.

Q: What is it like to be a pastor? Is it hard work?

A: It’s definitely hard work—at least, it can be at times. But being a pastor isn’t just about the things we do behind closed doors; it’s also about reaching out to people and helping them find healing in their lives through God. I get to pray with people who are hurting physically and spiritually all the time, so being in this position has given me an incredible opportunity to help others heal!

I don’t know if it’s the cold weather or the economy, but there have been a lot of people asking for prayer on the prayer wall lately. Most of the requests seem to be for healing from physical issues that range from cancer to migraines.

Prayer is a two-way street. I’m not just praying to God and expecting him to do things for me. I’m also talking to him, telling him my problems and asking for help. Prayer is how we communicate with God, so it makes sense that we would want to be sure he knows what we need.

God is not Santa Claus or an ATM machine that gives us anything we want at any time of the year, but he does promise his love and care in the Bible (John 3:16). And as humans, we have needs! Sometimes those needs include healing from our physical bodies or emotional anguish, but sometimes they are just basic things like food or shelter.

We can pray about those things too! Just because someone else has more money than you doesn’t mean they should get all the attention from God when it comes right down to it—if everyone prayed only when they needed something specific then there wouldn’t be any room left over for people who don’t know exactly what they’re looking for yet (like me).

As Christians, we all know that we need to pray for each other, but what do you do when you’re the one who needs prayer? How can you get other people to pray for you? What if they don’t pray hard enough? Is there a way to convince God to heal you faster?

You are not alone. As Christians, we all know that we need to pray for each other, but what do you do when you’re the one who needs prayer? How can you get other people to pray for you? What if they don’t pray hard enough? Is there a way to convince God to heal you faster?

Prayer is a two-way street and as such it is an honor and privilege to share in someone else’s healing journey. However, this does not mean that we should feel entitled or expect anyone else’s prayers if they aren’t being answered at our speed. Praying for others is just as much about them as it is about us; however giving them the benefit of doubt and assuming that God has good plans in store for their lives may help put things into perspective when neither of us understand why certain things happen in our lives or how long they take before healing happens.

I talk with people every week who are facing health problems and they want to know how prayer works and why sometimes their healing doesn’t come right away.

  • Prayer is a process of waiting on God, who is working in you and your situation. It can take time to see the results of prayer, which may be why we don’t always know how to respond when our prayers aren’t immediately answered.
  • God wants us to be healed; it’s not his will for us to suffer or remain ill in any way. The Bible says that “all things work together for good” (Romans 8:28). We don’t always understand how this works out, but we can trust that his plans are better than ours and will ultimately result in good things happening for us if we let him work through our circumstances as he sees fit (see Isaiah 55:8-9).
  • Asking for healing doesn’t guarantee you’ll get it right away—in fact, most people don’t experience immediate physical healing through prayer alone! You may still need medical treatment as well as faith-based care from friends or family members who support you through difficult times like this one…
