Prayer For Deliverance From Narcissism
Dear God, I pray for Your deliverance in my life, so that I may be free from the tyranny of narcissistic people and behaviors.
Lord God, I thank You for the authority to battle against the controlling powers of witchcraft, that attack me.
- Pray for strength and wisdom.
- Pray that the power of Christ compels you to give your life to him, so that he can begin to release you from all evil influences.
- Pray that God will help you see the truth about yourself, instead of deceiving yourself with false pride or vanity.
- Pray that God will help you discern when others are trying to use witchcraft against your mind or soul, so that they don’t take advantage of your vulnerability by controlling what’s left of your thinking processes.
I take authority over all demonic manifestations that try to come against me.
You can take authority over all of the demonic manifestations that try to come against you by using the name of Jesus. Tell them to leave you alone, that you are a child of God, and ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Don’t be afraid of them!
I bind every negative, unscriptural word spoken against my life.
Don’t let people’s words affect you. Don’t let other people’s words define you. Don’t let other people’s words define your worth or value in Christ! We are not defined by what anyone else says about us or calls us; we are defined by who Jesus said we are (1 John 4:19). So, when someone says something hurtful to you out of their own hurt and anger—or even if it seems like they are right—you can choose not to let those words get under your skin and into your heart so that they ruin your day or week or month.
We’ll be praying against any negative thoughts that may have been planted in our minds through sin nature and demonic influence as well as any ungodly beliefs such as “I’m not good enough” or “God won’t love me if…”
I break the power of confusion, torment, fear, control and manipulation.
This is a demonic power that has been used by narcissists to control others. This is not from God. It is not from the Holy Spirit or Jesus Christ. I command all confusion in my life to be dispelled by the Holy Spirit now!
I break soul-ties with those who have caused me emotional trauma or wounded me by their words and/or actions.
The next step is to break soul-ties with those who have caused you emotional trauma or wounded you by their words and/or actions. The reason we need to do this is because the Bible teaches that when someone hurts you, it’s possible for a soul tie to form between the two of you. If this happens, your emotions will be affected by them for years to come. It can also make it very hard for God’s healing process in your life to take place as quickly or completely as it should.
Breaking these soul ties can be done through forgiveness or prayer, cutting off contact with the person who harmed you (if possible), accepting that their relationship with you is over (and let go of any hope that they’ll change because most likely they won’t) and making sure there isn’t anything else left between them–emotionally or otherwise…
I bind all communication between spirits assigned against my life and command them to go where Jesus sends them.
Command the spirits to go where Jesus sends them and bind them. This includes commanding them to leave you, your home, family, friends, job and town. You can also command these spirits not to return because they have been sent away by the power of God through the name of Jesus Christ.
I ask you to help us who are vulnerable to this type of person to recognize the warning signs and to walk away from these relationships before we become embroiled in a tangled web of dysfunction!
As you pray for us, we ask that you would also help us who are vulnerable to this type of person to recognize the warning signs and to walk away from these relationships before we become embroiled in a tangled web of dysfunction!
- Avoidance is not a solution. Narcissists are masters at manipulation, lies and deceit. While some can be charming or charismatic when meeting new people (especially those who have something they want), there are other tell-tale signs that should alert us to the presence of narcissism in others: arrogance; excessive need for admiration; lack of empathy; self-centeredness; grandiosity (a belief in being special); refusal to acknowledge mistakes or take blame for problems created by their behavior—these all point toward narcissism at some level. Recognize this behavior when it happens around you, even if the person does not exhibit all of these qualities all the time. There is no quick cure for this problem because once someone becomes entrenched in such an unhealthy way of being towards others, it will take time and effort on both sides in order for things to change—but keep praying!
Give us the wisdom and strength to do what is needed to deliver others from co-dependency on these controlling people.
If you are in a relationship with a narcissist, it is important to set boundaries and be careful of what you say or do. The narcissist will use your words against you. You should be aware that the narcissist will attempt to make all communication about them, so avoid talking about yourself too much or attempting to discuss their behavior with them.
The best way to avoid getting involved with a narcissist is knowing what attracts people like that in the first place: being able to manipulate others’ emotions, needing constant praise and recognition from others, having an inflated sense of self-importance and grandiosity (thinking they are better than everyone else), taking advantage of others without remorse while blaming other people when things go wrong. Avoid these types of people at all costs!
With God you can get free from narcissistic people and behaviors
You can get free from narcissism by praying to God for help and by recognizing the warning signs of this toxic relationship. If you see your partner as superior to you in any way, there’s a good chance that this is not a healthy relationship. If you feel like you are less important than your partner, that’s another sign that things are not going well. When narcissistic people are involved in relationships with others, they tend to dominate the conversation and put themselves first in everything—including sex.
If you suspect that your relationship might have some narcissistic tendencies, it’s important not to try and fix the problem on your own. Instead of trying to change someone else (or yourself), walk away from what feels wrong so that both parties can find happiness elsewhere!
Conclusion
You can heal from this trauma and move forward. You are not alone in your experience with a narcissist. Many people have found freedom from these toxic relationships and have gone on to live happy, healthy lives after leaving a narcissistic partner behind. The most important thing is to remember that God loves you unconditionally, no matter what happened while you were in this situation. He has provided healing and freedom for those who seek Him wholeheartedly!
