Prayer For First Day At New Job

Prayer For First Day At New Job

This morning I woke up knowing that today was going to be the first day on a new job for me. As I prayed and read my Bible, I thanked God for this opportunity and asked Him to bless each step that I take.

Dear God, I am asking for Your help and guidance as I venture into the unknown.

Dear God, I am asking for Your help and guidance as I venture into the unknown. As a child, we are taught that our parents are there to guide us through life. But as we get older, we realize that it’s not always the case. We find ourselves in situations where we don’t know what to do or where to turn. In these moments when life seems overwhelming and confusing, You are the only one who can guide me through this new job challenge. Help me make wise decisions about how I will handle it so that Your name is glorified and others see Your love through my actions.

Thank You that I do not have to worry or be anxious about the future, because I know that You are already there, and You have gone before me to make the crooked places straight.

Thank you that I do not have to worry or be anxious about the future, because I know that You are already there, and You have gone before me to make the crooked places straight. You are always with me and in control of everything around me. Thank you that I can trust in You with all my heart and mind, knowing that if I trust in You, then all will be well!

Give me peace and confidence as I embark on this new phase of my life and help me to remember that You will never leave me nor forsake me.

  • Give me peace and confidence as I embark on this new phase of my life and help me to remember that You will never leave me nor forsake me.
  • Help me to trust in God’s guidance and not fear the unknown.
  • Remember that God is with you—therefore, there is no need for worry or anxiety about the future.
  • God has gone before you to make the crooked places straight; He will provide all the help needed for today’s challenges, so confidently face each one without fear or apprehension.

Every good gift that I have received in my life has come from You and I praise You for each one. And now Lord, as I step out into the unknown, give me grace to face each day with courage and strength, knowing that You are with me and will never leave me.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the many blessings that I have received in my life. Thank You for all the good things I have done and all the good things that have been done through me. Thank You for giving me this new job and giving me strength and courage to face each day with confidence knowing that You are with me always.

God, please give me strength today as I step into the unknown. Lord, I know that there will be times when it seems like nothing is going right but if we believe in ourselves then we can overcome any obstacle or challenge that comes our way because every victory is an opportunity for us to see how far God has brought us since we first began praying for a new job!

Be with my family today – give us each grace for whatever lies ahead and keep us strong in our faith in You.

You already know that family is important to me, and I thank You for keeping them safe. It’s not always easy to walk this life with loved ones who are struggling. Give us each grace for whatever lies ahead and keep us strong in our faith in You!

This is my prayer in Jesus name, Amen.

Amen. This word means “let it be so” or “so be it.” The Hebrew word ‘amen’ is used to affirm or agree with what has been said. It can also be used to express gratitude or appreciation, like saying thank you for letting me borrow your car (amen). When we use amen as a response in prayer, we’re affirming that God’s will has already been done on our behalf and that we’re grateful for His blessings in our lives.

A good way to think about how this was used in Biblical times would be by imagining yourself sitting around with friends who were talking about their day at work yesterday. One friend says something like “I’m going back to work today!” You could respond by saying:

I know this is a big day for you, so I hope these prayers have helped you in some way. I also hope that they have brought you closer to God and reminded you of the blessings He has given us. As you embark on this new journey, may His love shine through every moment of your life!
